There's no need to bump till the thread falls off the first page. The forum moves pretty slow ^^

I think the profile looks pretty decent how it is. The background makes it look weird when you scrool though. Like you said, it needs work but it's not bad. 6/10

Hmmm, well I like the subdued colors and the background image, but the images behind your friends avatars in the comments and the image behind you don't mesh well with the background. Overall I think it is a good start though.
