Background Image cut off

So... First off sorry if this is already covered, but I couldn't find my problem, not sure if I was wording it wrong or what but...
Well I have a problem of my background image only part of the way down the page, where it cuts off to black. When I anchor it to the bottom it just sticks the bottom of the image at that cut off point instead of the bottom of the profile. Is there anyway to get rid of that cut off? Or if it would be easier is there a way I can put my background image on that part of the page instead of on the top?

edit: I can provide an image of the problem if necessary.

Change this:

to this:
