i came up with a question on the old profile's.

1.
Ive been seeing other people making
their status bar on their image. without
moving the pictures place to place, till
they get it where they wanted it to be.
and i want to know how to do that too.

do you have any tricks while making
status bars without stress and agony

hey i want to know if i can customize the cursor in my profile, i saw some nice ones i can use but somehow it doesnt seem to work in my profile... help me out?

I don't go over this in my guide simply because it only works in IE. So I never learned how to do them at all xd

heh.. ok.. I'm pretty much a real big amatur at this because I've never worked with html or anycodes like that at all.. and I don't get anything on the first page. I desided to try and work with the old school system because it seems the easiest, and using the old school common classes and IDs, already I can't figure out how to change anything.. I keep experimenting and nothing works. What I mean is I'm trying to figure out how to chage the parts with the heading like "about" or "signiature" and I donno how...

I'm in the process of making a new profile, and before I plan anything major with my design, I was wondering if someone could help me combine sections. I do not want to make a new section and I am not exactly sure which sections I would want to combine. And just to clear things up when I say sections some examples are: "about" and "friends." And if no one can help me, that is okay.

No, you can use any cursor you want as long as it's a .cur image.

Did you try first playing around with your Tektek theme? Sometimes altering an already existing layout is a good learning experience. It is also a lot easier than making a profile from scratch.

It really depends on what you mean by "combine sections"

like on my profile, I "combined" my details and forums sections by adjusting padding and removing headers.

it's harder to do in old school, but can be done there as well smile

Ahh. I'm actually asking if I could basically put a few of the sections into one scroll box or not. I think that I have seen this be done before in other profiles but I am not completey sure. Of course, I am not completely sure about what I'm doing in the gaia layouts because most of the coding I've done before was pure HTML. sweatdrop
