The Rock is definitely better, but, as it stands right now, I can't imagine the WWE having Cena lose and still work for the company. That'd kind of kill the last six years they spent building the company around him. Of the two, I'd want the Rock to win, but I don't really see it happening.

Technically, in the eyes of the WWE, Cena does "need" the win. He gets booed by half the crowd practically wherever he goes, moreso in some places (like Chicago). I'm sure someone in the back thinks giving Cena a win over not only everyone on the current roster, but an older star like the Rock, will help with all the booing fans...they'd be wrong, but I'm sure that's what they're thinking.

Umm....no. You have apparently forgotten about Shawn Michaels, who is far and away one of the greatest performers of all time (and unlike Cena, HBK never had to be carried through a match). Even then, there are plenty of guys who were miles ahead of Cena in either wrestling ability, character, mic skills, or general ability. Cena wouldn't even make a top 50 list if he weren't forced down our throats week in and week out.

I call bullshit on the mic skills part as well, Cena is a natural at it and has more charisma then /almost/ anyone in the history of the WWE and to say otherwise is a fallacy.

1) Almost insinuates he's near the top...which he is not. He's pushed heavily, but that does not make him even a decent wrestler. They pushed Hogan hard too, but at least he had charisma and an appeal to his audience. Cena has neither (especially appeal to his audience...that's why he's booed by at least half the crowd wherever he goes).

2) Fallacy is to say he's got better mic skills than almost anyone in the history of the WWE, because frankly, he doesn't. If it weren't for the fact that there are few people who can work the mic today, I wouldn't even say he's in the top 10 of this era. Just because you find his pathetic attempt at humor funny does not mean he is, and it doesn't mean he can work the mic. I'd put him just above Orton, and that's not saying much (since Orton's very one-noted and boring).
