Welcome to Gaia! ::

Okay, dude has enough soul, but at least an interesting feud!

The Bleacher Report released an post about five possible candidates for a feud with the creature from planet Funk. While his squash matches are getting kind of the 'norm' boring do something funny, GET HIM, pin him and dance ladies routine these five guys could spice him up.

1. KANE; Whether or not if you agree with this pick we all know that the CENA vs Kane feud is coming to an end, if not this month by mid-march. This will leave Kane with no one to fuel is 'give into hate' storyline. So he turns his attention on turning the Funkasarus to his stable....

IMO ; this feud can happen, however I don't believe it can be played up right. For this feud to work, once again IMO, it would have to get personal. This means more Funk promo's about his past and present life. Where the personal factor comes into play depends on what comes out of his mouth.

2. JACK SWAGGER: Swagger, after losing his WHW title was bunked to do Jobbing until his signed up with Vicky, and now he's the US champ! He's sitting pretty right now with no one to really feud with and if someone doesn't take interest in the title he holds right now he might get stripped of it again and back to jobbing. Swagger is all business in the ring and it would be an interesting chemistry between the two.

IMO: The funk would have to be able to get angry to seriously deal with Swagger. He's tried before, but he's just not there yet. He's too busy having fun and Swagger..Swagger could act silly, but it would just water down the whole feud. Swagger is Heel material, he's this gens Kurt but this time around the All American-American is better suited for the Heel suit.

3. ALBERTO DEL RIO: Rio's been out for a while due to injury and with his sudden appearance of his ring announcer in the Rumble it could lead to either two things, a split or a power of divide concur through distractions. Del Rio will need someone to feud with when he comes back and with everything up in the air at the moment the most likely and unlikely person is the Clay,

IMO: Just like the post says, Rio will need to re-establish himself as a Heel when he comes back. There's just too many for him to hope to suddenly come back and be top dog again. Brodus could provide him with a dominating push in the right direction. Their ring style is sort of similar in pace and could lead to some interesting matches between the two.

4. MARK HENRY: Okay and all the people in the land scream "NOOOOOOO!" Yes in body mass it would be Monster vs Monster, however Brodus has what no other Monster has at this time, Speed&Agile.

IMO: I'm not a fan of this feud. It would be interesting due to the fact of Mark's Hall of Pain and Funk's fun loving nature but I just don't see this being taken seriously. The only reason the SHOW vs HENRY feud was taken seriously was because of the years each man gave to the company...there was a story there; it got down played because of them trying to scramble an push Danielson into top Heel position. {BTW; that push worked perfectly for once}

5. THE MIZ: He's the Miz and he's.... lacking any true movement right now. His feud with R-truth might come to a head in the elimination chamber, but unless they do something title worthy for Truth this feud is Pop, Rock, Sizzle....Fizzle.

IMO: This could be very entertaining for the fact that Truth can be a part of this by teaming with Clay to screw over Miz. OR this can be an interesting Feud because of Miz's mic skills and Clays playful approach to wrestling. I see lots of backstage interviews, commentary and interrupted matches for this feud.

SO this is what the Bleacher Report wanted to see to Push Clay from simple Squash matches into main event status while keeping his gimmick. Could this work or be one of the possible feud to come this year or will the WWE keep Clay where he is? Do you like the suggestions made, got any particular person you'd like to see? Opinions?

Instead of pushing him as a single's competitor, the WWE is dropping the ball by not putting him in the tag division with someone...I'd say Percy Watson would be perfect. Then, it wouldn't matter who he squashes right now because the tag division has gone back to s**t. Plus, his comical gimmick wouldn't be so awkward when they eventually put a belt on him.

They wont do it, they'll leave him in the single division. I was the first one preaching that he should be in a tag team with someone! I had forgotten all about Percy, I remember being annoyed about him and on NXT he didn't sell his moves or maybe I just don't like him. IDK. I think if either of them got a decent manager they'd be a whole lot better. I was watching some of Teddy's old vids with his clients when he was a manager, I think he would be perfect for Clay or Percy if he decides to take someone under his wing for real or got sacked as GM.
