They actually draw decent crowds outside of the Impact Zone, excluding house shows. I even watched a bit of the show tonight only to find it still has many of the problems it had a year and a half ago when I stopped watching.
The show was pretty good, there were a few problems I had with the show but it was nothing major. And also I loved how over Joe and Magnus were, it was nice to see to great wrestlers geat some recognition.

have you guys seen the roster of american wrestlers, for the TNA India shows?
im to lazy to go look for it right now...
I just don't get it. TNA goes to these arenas around the US, and now apparently internationally. I hear there's a lot of good cards. Yet every time I tune into TNA tv or catch clips of their PPV, its always in that lame WCW Saturday Night circa 1995 Disney arena. And with lame matches and horrible backstage plots...and then geriatric main events. WTF?

If they REALLY want to emulate WCW? Why not televise live Impact from different arenas(even if its a small outside venue) every week, bring in luchadore/japanese/foreign wrestlers and styles, and actually get some good writing. Theres a reason WCW 1996-1999 was amazing, and it wasnt just the NWO angle.

Gah, so frustrating how much TNA drops the ball

From what I hear, the house shows aren't nearly as scripted, so it's just the wrestlers performing...which if they did that on the televised show, I guarantee you their ratings would go up. Their biggest problem is creative interfering in matches. Just let the guys in the ring tell a story.

Also, like you said, they desperately need to get out of the Impact Zone. That crowd looks pathetic compared to the few televised crowds they draw from other arenas. Not to mention, the IZ is free, whereas I'm assuming the other venues sell tickets...and they're touring anyway so it's not like they're spending that much more money. Sometimes, I honestly think someone is trying to tank the company...

That right there is so bizarre. They finally do this big national tour(hell they came to my city, just happened to miss it), yet they don't use any of them as Impact or another show or even a PPV? Like it would cost that much extra to have a little extra production values and cameras. I can forgive them for the 6 sided ring gaffe, but it's like that was the last of their thinking outside the box ideas.

Again, when you have 53 year old Sting in his old Crow schtick shoot quick-pin a wasted Jeff Hardy in a few seconds...and that's your "main event" on a PPV...you know you're product is 2001 WCW or worse. I want to be excited about TNA and see the WWE have some healthy competition(as goodness knows noone else has stepped up to the plate) But so far it just ain't happening. Yet go to any store that sells toys, and you have huge long aisles of nothing but WWE and TNA figures. So strange...

Yes, yes we all agree Victory Road was balls, but if you look at the stage they're in now, they're trying to rebuild. And while the shows themselves aren't spectacular, they aren't nearly as bad as they were just six months ago. Impact Wrestling is in a rebuilding stage and I think by the end of the year we'll see some real progress.

I hope. If TNA started doing interesting shows, with hot new talent, different locations, smart writing and made an exciting package I'd tune in every week. As it is I rarely even watch WWE
