Last night Shelton's credibility died with a roundhouse kick to his head. crying

Sad really because not only did I think he demonstrated that he does in fact have decent mic skills and charisma, but I thought ECW would be a perfect fit for him. I mean lets face it as of right now Benjamin just isn't WWE or World champ material, but he is still a little bigger than being IC or US champ. I think an ECW title run would be perfect for him.

But then he got kicked in the head. stare

With Bourne gone, Ryder's gimmick dying already on me, and Shelton losing to one move I am questioning weither ( <----apparently FireFox is telling me this isn't a real word confused ) or not to even watch ECW.

I just feel cheated out of a possibly good match between Tatsu and Benjamin. I know what they were trying to do. But come on WWE, it didn't work before, won't work now.

I think I got the same feeling. Most Japanese wrestlers are pretty good and I heard this guy came from New Japan. Now I personally haven't seen any of Yoshi's matches, but I have seen a few New Japan matches and found them rather interesting. If Yoshi is anything like that than Benjamin would have worked great with him, hell he sold the kick well.

Comparing Yoshi's match against Tanahashi, and Shelton's match against Jericho, I'd say it would have been a good match. (This is, of course, if Yoshi's wrestling moves have not been limited)

Not true. Matt Hardy and Tommy Dreamer can get a reaction from a doing a promo or a match (not as big as other guys like Cena or Orton, but that's why Hardy,Dreamer are in the mid-card), Shelton on the other hand can't. The crowd doesn't care about Benjamin and that's why he's a bad pro wrestler.

Joey Styles is probably the best announcer to have ever announced in the WWE aside from JR.

There was solid wrestling in ECW it is just overlooked because the hardcore style is what made them famous because it was the only thing they did that WCW or WWE didn't. With a low budget they did what they could to try and get ahead of the competition.

Plus I always thought it was odd of wrestling fans to b***h about hardcore wrestling considering wrestling is a violent sport and entertainment by nature. Kinda hypocritical.
