I like Edge but I want to see something different. Maybe turn him face and Christian heel. Or turn Christian heel and have them both have Tag and maybe one have WH and one IntC.

Turning Christian heel and reforming his tag team with Edge was my second suggestion. If you ask me Jericho should go face and fued with Edge. They are both amazingly talented, and they could do some kind of Canadian storyline, with them both claiming to the top commodity north of the border. Have them main event a PPV in Canada and that show will be sold out, hands down.

And this will go over well with the majority of fans, aka those in the United States, how?

It's Edge and Jericho. Both are talented and capable in the ring. I like the idea.

Me thinks it's good that Edge is out of the title picture..Its about time he does something other than chase the title..

He'll be back in it, don't see what other things he could be doing.

Doubt, he'll be dropped down to mid card for a long period. 3nodding

He's been pushed for a long time and as a heel he always seemed to stay fresh. I think he just wants some time to chill and chasing the belt doesn't give you that. He may be back or even just go peaks and valleys like Michaels.

Does it really matter on threads? They don't need to be official or unofficial and it doesn't matter if they are repeats. Sometimes a new thread on a subject brings something new. I mean do you want to search through threads to find a topic you want to talk about when you can simply start a thread?

Hmmmm... You think they would have him turn face? I'd like to see him as a face. He's such a good heel though. What would they have him do while he's not in the title hunt? I was kind of hoping he'd feud with Morrison, but we shall see.

His character is starting to get stale, I think he's done enough as World champion for the pas 3 years, and he should start working in the midcard range just to freshen some younger stars...However, I would not mind if Edge join Christian and re-formed the famous tag-team and hopefully regain some prestige in the tag team titles again...

I agree his character is getting kind of stale. And I definitely wouldn't mind an Edge-Christian reunion.

THIS. Not so much because I love Edge and Christian, though I do, but but because I really want the tag titles to mean as much as they did 10 years ago. Tag teams were such a big deal that many people viewed their matches like main events. Hell, there were tag teams like HHH and Stone Cold, Undertaker and Kane, Jericho and Benoit. The tag team division used to be awesome and now it just sucks. Wrestling is stale because none of the belts besides the WWE and WHC* seem to mean anything anymore. We get a handful of good IC title matches, but even that belt has lost its value.

Since WWE inherited all the WCW belts and consequently decided to merge the titles**, everything changed for the worse. I believe that to be the very root. Combine that with major talent retiring and jumping ship, and the reduction of weapon use and "extreme content", and superhero Cena storylines to keep the top gold as the only focus, and I think we see where the prestige of the other belts got lost in the shuffle.

Bringing it back to Edge... he rocks. xd

** I was referring to the merging of the European title and the riddance of the hardcore and light-heavyweight/cruiserweight titles in this thought, in addition to the expected mergers.

You're 7 years old. I don't even know what you're attempting to say.

If you're gonna go calling people children, learn some elementary school grammar first. If you're addressing someone as "are 7-years-old", in the present, then it only makes you use present tense afterward while commenting on the same idea.


On topic: I've never liked Edge. Ever. But after hearing how good his match was Morrison, maybe I'll take an inkling of a liking to him. But is it mad long? Just wondering so I know when I've time to sit down and watch it.
