My boy Punk won the MITB second year in a row. Now he has just furthermore cemented his name in WWE history. Not only is he the fastest triple crowned champion, but the first ever superstar to win the MITB two years in a row!

CM Punk will be a WWE Legend someday, mark my words.

For all those who say won't, just remember I shut ya up about the MITB. mrgreen

I do think Punk will become a legend, but right now he reminds me of Jericho before he came back in 2007, a wrestler who has all the tools, mic skills, good workrate, a unique look, but stays in the midcard because of things that he can not control. Jericho and Punk were both victims of poorly booked world title runs, making the fans not take them seriously as main event guys. Also Punk did become the fastest ever triple crowned champion, but he did it backwards.

Yeah, when he first reached for the briefcase at 'Mania, there was a helluva loud cascade of boos.

I would love to see him go heel. Punk is just a master of being a heel. The Straight Edge gimmick allows him to be an arrogant "better than thou" persona that makes you hate him for being a stuck-up b*****d but at the same time, love him for being a jerk to an arena filled with beer drinkers

Exactly, but I highly doubt it'd be as good when WWE puts the script in his hands. We wouldn't get anything like that MASTERFUL promo he had against Raven. Though, it seems like an awesome concept for Punk to go heel, the 'E would fandangle it so damn badly, it'd turn out horrible.
