Other interesting facts:

Miz, Ziggler, and Santino scored their first ever eliminations tonight.

Kharma is the third woman to enter the rumble, and the fourth time one has done so. Despite being the heaviest of the three, she also scored the least impressive elimination.

For the first time since 2004, the winner wasn’t predictable.

An interesting fact for people, Sheamus will now look to become the first Royal Rumble winner in 5 years to go on and win the championship at wrestlemania

John Cena won the 2008 royal rumble but gave up his chance at wrestlemania to fight Orton at No Way Out, he would also lose in a triple threat match vs Orton and Triple H at wrestlemania

Randy Orton won the 2009 royal rumble but would lose to Triple H at wrestlemania
