WWE denies Rey Mysterio request

One of the reasons Rey Mysterio is upset with WWE is because the AAA promotion in Mexico wanted to hold a Rey Misterio Jr. Cup this year and have Rey present the winner with the cup. Rey asked WWE for permission and they said no because they don’t want him appearing on a AAA show even if it’s just to present a trophy.

Early plans for this year's WWE Summerslam

According to Dave Meltzer, early plans for this year's WWE Summerslam include The Undertaker vs. Jack Swagger for the World Title. That seems to indicate that, at least for the moment, Swagger is scheduled to be a long-term champion.

WWE also wants to push either MVP or Kofi Kingston in a main event position for Summerslam, but also having the one that they decide to push turn heel.

On the RAW side, Triple H vs. Edge is being talked out.

Fan Axxess is currently scheduled in Los Angeles in the days prior to the Summerslam PPV.

Jericho talks about his future plans in wrestling

The following is an excerpt from an article with Chris Jericho from The Sun out of the UK:

Lilian Garcia responds to Mick Foley defending her

Former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia has publicly thanked Mick Foley for coming to her rescue after Foley called out Triple H for making fun of Lilian's appearance when she returned to RAW for one night last month.

Mick Foley published a blog on MySpace criticizing Triple H for mocking Lilian Garcia during her appearance on the April 19th episode of RAW. Triple H made a joke about Garcia “horsing around” - a reference to an inside joke among some WWE employees that Lilian has a horse-shaped face.

Garcia wrote the following message to Foley on her Twitter account today (Twitter.com/liliangarcia):

It appears WWE's website team wrote their original RAW report this week off a script that was changed before it hit the air or they just got their information wrong. The following was a sentence written in WWE's official RAW report on Monday night before it was edited:

There is said to be no interest right now from within TNA regarding Shelly Martinez coming back. A fan campaign was recently started online that Shelly supported trying to get her back with the company.

Eric Bischoff's new idea, Kurt Angle's return

- Kurt Angle is scheduled to return to action at next week's TNA Impact tapings that will air on May 20th. Angle posted a message about his on his Facebook page, but then deleted it.

- Eric Bischoff has been talking about doing some sort of show on Spike this Summer similar to WWE's Tough Enough.

Matt Hardy still wants to be World Champion

SLAM! Wrestling did an interview with Matt Hardy on Friday to promote the shows in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick this weekend. He talks about Rey Mysterio being his travel buddy now, and how the Smackdown brand feels more like home to him than the RAW brand. He also mentions he is in the process of getting his life and career back where he feels it needs to be, adding “We’re getting there, slowly but surely.”

He also says that he would like to win the WWE or World Championship, and that his feud with Drew McIntyre is not over, adding “The one thing I would definitely say is make sure to tune into SmackDown. A lot of questions are going to be answered… there’ll be some developments that will help you understand what the next phase is in the whole Drew McIntyre story. I can promise you this: the Matt Hardy-Drew McIntyre situation and story are far from being over.”

- The legendary Hart Family mansion in Calgary is up for sale. The Calgary Herald reports tbhat the home, which was recently renovated, is on the market for $4.95 million dollars.
