NXT: TAKEOVER
Note: There will be spoilers. I will put winners in a spoiler box, but otherwise, you've been warned.
This is off of a "I've never seen FCW/NXT until last night mindset. How I've never seen any of it until now is beyond me. I like the announcer team that they have; however, I feel as though Saxton is trying too hard to be a new JBL. Still, gripes aside, it wasn't bad.
They ran vignettes of each competitor in the Fatal 4-Way match, each varying on what their goal is going into the match and profiling their personalities walking in. Adrian Neville was first, then Tyler Breeze, followed by Tyson Kidd, and rounding off with Sami Zayn.
Match 1: Ascension vs Sin Cara and Kallisto (renamed The Lucha Dragons)
A great way to start the show, featuring two top NXT tag teams. On the one side, you have Ascension, a very impressive tag team, and on the other, the high energy team of Sin Cara and Kallisto. A great back and forth match that left me satisfied and locked in for the rest of the night. After the match, the two (Sin Cara and Kallisto) announced their new tag name: The Lucha Dragons (though it may be Lucha Dragonz).
Match 2: CJ Parker vs Baron Corbin (debut)
Now, I didn't watch this match, because I got up to grab a drink, came back...and it was done. I watched the match later that night, and I got a Junkyard Dog vibe from Corbin, so lets see how long that goes for.
Match 3: Sylvester Lefort (w/Marcus Louis) vs Enzo Amore (w/ Colin Cassidy) - Hair vs Hair Match
A pretty good match between two guys I had only heard of and didn't see. It wasn't a high-energy match and more a battle of character, but it was entertaining. I'm sold on Enzo (S-A-W-F-T SAAAAAAAAAWFT); he's got a great character, and from what I saw, some good in-ring skill.
KENTA: THE ARRIVAL
Great segment, glad to have Kenta on board. More in the spoiler if you'd like to read it.
Match 4: Bull Dempsey vs Mojo Rawley
This was the only match I didn't really enjoy. It was a good match, but without being heavily invested in the story until this point...I didn't really get it. Bull looks good, but Mojo seems to be on a downward slope.
Match 5: Charlotte vs Bayley: NXT Women's Title Match
Now, in case any of you didn't already know this, I'm not a big fan of divas matches on RAW or Smackdown. I'm glad to have seen improvement across the board, but there's still a bit more to go. As far as this match goes...easily one of the best women's matches I have seen in 3 years or so. Charlotte played her role well and was dominant the entire match, while Bayley played the underdog role insanely well. I can't wait to see where this story goes.
Match 6: Adrian Neville vs Sami Zayn vs Tyler Breeze vs Tyson Kidd - Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Heavyweight Title
No words can accurately describe how incredible this match was. I feel like I can't even talk about this match without spoiling it. There were excellent spots, insane moments, and a great feeling of excitement from the bell ringing to...well, the bell ringing at the end. Kidd did a great job showing his ring tactics, Tyler Breeze surprised the hell out of me, Neville did a fantastic job doing everything he could to win, and Sami Zayn...well, Sami Zayn was...INZAAAAAAAAAAAAYN!!! (OLE, OLE OLE OLE, OLE, OLE) He was easily the match MVP, and all I can say is just watch the match. Easily match of the year.

However, after the match, Lefort ran off, leaving the duo of Enzo and Cass to dump shaving cream on top of Marcus Louis. This led to a segment later in the evening, where the duo chased down Lefort and revealed that they shaved Marcus' head (and hoo boy did it look bad...).

KENTA: THE ARRIVAL
Regal comes out (HUZZAH) to announce KENTA's ring debut. KENTA arrives and the place goes nuts. Then he started his speech; he spoke in Japanese (since they were simulcast out in Japan, that makes sense), and the crowd didn't seem as into it. Then he spoke in English (pretty good, by the way), and announced his name change to Hideo Itami. Not a bad name, expected given its WWE, but I was hoping they'd let him keep the name. Ascension then comes out, clears Itami out of the ring. They bark demands at Regal...then Itami comes back, cleans the ring, grabs a chair...and sets it in the middle of the ring, beckoning the team to come back. INSTA-FACE.

Winner: Charlotte
After the match, Sasha Banks comes out to talk smack to, then literally smack, Bayley. Charlotte clears her out of the ring.
