If anyone belongs in the HOF its Owen Hart he deserves it more than Ron Simmons

WWE actually wants to put Owen into the Hall of Fame but Owens Wife refuses to have his late husband enter because she wants nothing to do with the WWE after what happened

Besides the WWE hall of fame is a joke nowadays, I mean they put Drew Carey into the hall of fame before the likes of Macho Man Randy Savage and so many other incredible talents that made WWE what it is today, its also the reason that Billy Graham apparently gave his ring back to WWE because he felt the Hall of Fame was becoming less an honour and more a joke

I forgot what happened to Owen, what happen?!

Owen fell to his death at the 1999 over the edge ppv just before his IC Title match with the godfather, the cause was a faulty harness as he was lowered into the ring as his alter ego "the blue blazer"

The really sad part is that the whole thing was preventable, mostly cause Owen didn't want to do the spot. However, Russo insisted that it was important, and Owen pretty much caved. It also didn't help that, instead of using a company that actually does this kind of spot, the WWE (F at the time) got some guys with some fishing boat cables, which aren't made to support that kind of weight really.
