BreakoutStars of 2012

So I know we're into mid-January already but I was wondering who your guys picks for Break-Out Star are.

Obviously one would have to be Mr. Funk-A-Licious, John Laurinitis. But who can forget Brodus Clay. I sense mid-card things for Justin Gabriel. And I think I will be suffering from a Wade Barrett championship reign in the near after Wrestlemania future.

But the biggest break-out star of 2012 would have to be Daniel Bryan who I am predicting to be superstar of the year.

I think this is the year of heels.

Cody Rhodes is on his way to being an established main eventer. He's already got mid card locked up and I would not doubt we'll see him with the WHC or WWE title sometime this year. He's one to watch out for.

Wade Barrett is also on a roll. He's my pick for the Rumble this year as well.

Drew McIntyre is finally back on track by simply being back on Smackdown. He'll probably catch his break this year.

I agree with Sadistyk. Definitely a heel year

I think Dolph Ziggler is going to have a great year for one...predicting he'll become a legit (as opposed to being stripped of his belt like he was with the WHC) WWE Champ. Just want to see him pushed out of the midcard instead of bringing the main belts to that level.

Cody's definitely on a roll...Wouldn't mind seeing him hold the IC belt for the remainder of the year (He wears it well and a long reign would be amazing as it's unheard of these days...he's had it 4 1/2 months now and that is really a feat these days)

Wade Barrett is making a name for himself and will probably at least be in the title picture soon.

my 2 picks for this year are Ziggler and Rhodes.

No i'm not kidding, I really dislike the guy. He's making me notice him a bit more though but just the thought of him with the WHC around his waist this year makes me sick.

No i'm not kidding, I really dislike the guy. He's making me notice him a bit more though but just the thought of him with the WHC around his waist this year makes me sick.

Can't see why it would. He's a good wrestler and good at promos - I think he's great. Plus, it's good seeing some British talent rise the ranks in the WWE.

The Barrett Barrage will continue most likely with a championship soon.

Mason Ryan might be receiving another push, so I say he could have a good a year if used correctly.

Hunico looks like he has something going on around the mid-card, so he could be a breakout superstar, and with all those low rider bikes, he could be an odd version of Alberto Del Rio in a way.

The crowd popped so hard for him. My friend was like "Wait...he wrestles?" and then I told him about him being in FCW and everything. I'm hoping they use him more...maybe even run a Virgil angle when ADR gets back...Plus, Ricardo had a sweeter ride than 'Berto's...

I agree....there were a ton of unexpected pops durring the Rumble. It was quite awesome in my opinion.
