whats your fav match youve had

Okay, here's one I'm curious about: I'm assuming that is a picture of you in your signature. Having seen that picture, there appear to be a few subtle similarities between your appearance and the appearance of somewhat well-known indy wrestler, "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon. Is that a coincidence or was that intentional (not to claim that you're ripping him off or anything, but rather it was done as some sort of homage).

Good question... I've had a lot of good matches... But I think the one match that sticks out in my mind was one of my last matches before moving to New York. We did a show at a bar in Columbia, South Carolina right next to USC. So it was a college town, lots of bars, lots of college kids. Anyway... Before the show we were all hanging out backstage talking about the last UFC PPV, I think it was when Dan Henderson kicked the s**t out of Bispane... And while talking about it, one of my boys who I was working that night, he's a huge Cro Cop fan. He was talking about how his roundhouse kick was lethal and everything, and it just popped in my head, "why don't we do a straight shoot fight/MMA style match."

So we went over our match and basically it was just a straight UFC/MMA type fight with a few wrestling moves. But basically after almost every wrestling move we did, we'd go right back into shooting. I remember I had him on the outside, and then got him back in the ring, picked him up and went right into a standing guillotine choke. Got him on the ground, and then he transitioned into side guard and started giving me knee strikes. It all just flowed, and at the very end, I went for a Shining Wizard, and when I went for it, he picked me up on his shoulders, spun me around and dropped me head first on his knee, I popped up, he yelled "CRO COP!" and then roundhouse kicked me in the head, and I dropped instantly and he was awarded the match via knockout.

That had to be the best match in my mind because it was different. I mean we did nothing but shoot fighting and the match ended in a KO rather than a standard pinfall or submission. And the fans loved it.

Haha, I wont lie, I'm a big fan of Cannon's. He's a great worker for his size. but it's pure coincidence. A lot of workers with their look and styles do pay homage to other workers that influenced them, or trained them. There's a guy on the indy scene right now name Jay Batista... He looks EXACTLY like Batista with a few differences... But you'd swear that when you saw him in a locker room he was actually Batista until you got up close and started talking to him. But as for me, nah, it's just coincidence.

Yes. Personally, I dont like to get busted open the hard way. It sucks and I hate hospitals too lol.

I'm 24.

Perks of wrestling on the indy scene. Get to travel a lot of different places, working different crowds and meeting new people. Plus you never know when you're going to be in the same locker room as some other great indy talent and or current or past workers. You also get to watch other talent and get a feel for the different styles. There are more but off the top of my head, those are some of the perks I get out of it.

Adding all those factors in... I'd have to go with WWE. With WWE as far as business, yeah the contract is going to be pretty stable... A drawback here or there but nevertheless its stable and its money you know you're going to be getting unless you screw up. You know you're also going to be traveling a lot so there's going to be times when you'll be used, and times when you won't be used. But nevertheless you're still going to be part of it in some way or another. One thing I always say is that despite if you've been wrestling for years, you're still learning something new every day.

Matches: You know regardless of any company you're involved in, they expect good if not GREAT matches. You always want to give it your best. With WWE, they're matches are a lot different from TNA, strictly for the fact that a lot of the matches you see in WWE are slow and steady paced. In TNA you've got your slow and steady paced matches, but you've also got your high paced 100 mph matches. Every match tells a story, and with WWE, they take you from start to finish. TNA, you'll see a few good storytelling matches, and then you'll see a lot of high risk, cheap pop, big move matches where there really isnt a story behind it, you just go in and bump your a** off and chances are, you're more prone to get injured going 100 mph and doing big off the wall insane bumps. Chances are in WWE when you've got a slow and steady paced match you're not going to get injured right off the bat. And when you do, it's always either a botch move, or a move you just landed wrong, or plain and flat out, you were going to get hurt from anyway.

Stories: WWE in it's WWF days and Attitude era had some great stories. TNA, not so much. To be honest, I never got into the stories and angles TNA had. And its not that they're not interesting, but it's mainly because it's been done already and maybe they'll throw in a twist here and there. WWE is constantly working stories left and right, and even if you see the same matches over and over again, the same Main Event for 3 months, there's always something new to add. In my mind anyway.

Women: You know what, both companies have some hot a** chicks in the locker room. But WWE has Maria... And I'm in love with that girl so I'll pick wherever shes at.

Putting Over Talent: This goes without question, I will be a jobber for life for both companies. You will not hear me complain once about putting over anybody. They are in WWE and TNA for a reason, and if I know I got them over, whether heel or baby, I did my job right. I think WWE has a lot more talent waiting to break in however.

Who's your biggest rival, either from a one-upsmanship standpoint, or someone you just plain don't like?

I've had pretty much 3 big rivals so far. One was my former tag team partner Page Eriks, another was a friend of mine Vincent Chambers/Sykes, and another was this guy Jason Storm/Banks.

I've got two questions.

1. Have you ever gotten into a fight with someone backstage?

2. Have you ever done a hardcore match?

Does it pay good? surprised

I have been involved in a break up or two backstage but personally, no, I've never gotten in a fight. I may have had an exchange of words, but never a fight. You never want to bring a fight into a locker room. It's disrespectful and you're only making it worse for yourself regardless if it's not your fault. Take the s**t outside.

Yes. I've done a few hardcore matches.

Depends if they want to pay you. I've worked for free many times and have never complained. I always say that if you wanna pay me, fine. Pay me. But if not, I'll settle for a handshake, a thank you, and a welcome back any time deal. However, if I drive 5 hours, I'd like to get paid something, at least gas money and a bite to eat, and I'm good with that.

It's not enough to pay my bills, I have a Mon-Fri 9-5 job. The most I've ever been paid was probably around 150 bucks because I traveled probably 10+ hours.
