Even though I only lived there when I was 2-4. >-> But everyone tells me this, hurr. And my bf is Vietnamese, though he talks perfectly in English. It's kinda jarring cuz he doesn't have an accent or anything, but then he goes to his house and starts chattering and I'm standing there like D: |

yup, it is, it's just the short version of my name, thierry, which is french, and the h is usually silent in french words and southern accents are kickass :'D rem's from southern indiana, near kentucky, which isn't that far down, really, but holy s**t he cracks me up sometimes XD but then I like accents in general; british accents make me swoon x) and was your boyfriend born in the states? 'cause I've been learning english for.. I think about eight years, and my accent is still atrocious D: my (british, lol) ex is teaching me some pronunciation, but it's going slooowly.. especially since rem teaches me words like t'marr and differnt :'D lilstalkerrr: qfe x) |

Yeah, he was born in the states. But he speaks almost straight Vietnamese at home, so I'd expect him to have a least a slight accent, but no! It's baffling, really. o wo; I love British and Australian accents. And German accents. * ^* I'm slowly picking up on my step-mom's style of speech.
