Question about people who dont pay

What do you do? Put them on a no draw list?

You report them, and blacklist them if you feel like it.

A good way to make sure you get your gold is this:

1. Have them start a trade with you before you start art.
2. When you're done, show them a watermarked version, and complete the trade.
3. When the trade is done, you give them an unwatermarked piece.

NEVER do art without having a trade started first unless you're trading art for art, or it's a freebie.

I dont like having open trades. I even tell my customers if they dont like it they dont have to pay. So far everyone has paid me. I was just wondering if you could report them or something like that.

Working without having them send a trade first is risky. Saying that they don't have to pay if they're not happy with it makes it even worse because they can just say they didn't like it (or not say anything at all) and get the art for free.

Normally you can report them if they don't pay, but that little clause you added will...complicate things. It's better to just tell them to let you know if they aren't happy with it and then decide if you want to say "okay, you don't have to pay." You could still try to report them, but I don't know if a mod will do anything about it, especially if the person just says they didn't like it if asked / etc.

No problems so far. And really its just practice for me. I did tell them if they dont pay i reserve the right to use the piece in anyway I see fit.
