If you scan them I would say around 120k for the headshot-thing and 170k for the fullbody
if you can't scan them then I suggest taking the pictures under a desk light, especially if there's natural light around! Also there are a lot of handheld scanners out there for pretty cheap that work really well. I suggest the Wolverine brand (I use it to scan music sheets)
