»»[ » ] Bring your monstrous self over! Filled with misc info about what the shop to come will be like. There is a lot of construction so please watch your step! OR FALL TO THE PIT OF DEATH~ Which is actually a pretty good swim I hear. ;3 Now for a good intro, well I don't have any at the moment- my werewolf brother ate it ;^;! Anyways, we have a poll up that will change the thread FOREVER. Yes, forever. Well up until the class revotes a new name that isn't likely,.... or is it? But really, without all the gnoming around. This thread is a spin off of Monster High (c) Mattel, It will also be highly influenced by monster inc, and many 'kid' show favorites but that also doesn't mean we won't have some artistic liberties. I am highly in to what the community wants to see as a whole for the shop and until we get our barrings I'd really love to hear your suggestions, characters and more! Currently we have a few goals.

[●] Just because we let you use our bases, it can NOT be used anywhere else and for NO OTHER reason but the shop. The moment that is violated without permission you will be called on art theft. Please let us know if you want to upload it anywhere. Please be considerate of the artists that worked on the bases FOR THIS SHOP USE ONLY.

[●] Limit: 2 Make-Your-Own starter characters. So just in case your slightly scared to rp outside ( though you'll have to! ) your group. Or yourself. Make friends >3

[●] Characters done on base can be done by you OR a friend. As long as its just [ 2 ] per person.

[●] Characters on base MUST BE FREE. NO PAYMENT WILL BE EXCHANGED. So your friend has to do your character for free with NO PAYMENT what so ever. ALTHOUGH we will allow you to trade students if the students were NOT priorly rped ( if done on base ).

[●] Another, Just because you make your own character- that does NOT mean we will grow it. You would have to earn it.

[●] Not other outfits. Just one per customer. Per character. You may doodle up refs for your next stages to show the artist when you claim a slot for the next year.

[●] We need a team of critics, this will possibly be a subforum in the guild for new things coming up in the community concerns and we will all vote probably.

[●] Your characters will be subject for approval BEFORE OFFICIALLY RPing ( if you make them or premade or custom ), ALL characters will go through an approval thread to make sure things check out.

[●] PLEASE REMEMBER. Its MONSTER high. Therefore your character must be the human-fied version of a MONSTER. ex, Vampires, werewolves, swamp monsters etc. Famous folklore creatures that are considered monster. Have an idea that you may question? Ask one of the staff ;3 We'll be glad to help you create your monster!

[●] Have no artistic ability? No problem. This is all about the community and about helping others, we will have a thread in the guild dedicated to artist help. :3 Any official art will be subject to approval, Please do not be offended- as we love to help others but also want to keep a level of standard for the shop. Once your character is approved, but the art is not- it will be put in a thread for any colorist to grab or you can look for the paid slots ;3.

[●] There will be contests/ sales etc even adoptables for premades. Some premades may be on different bases. You dunno whats gunna be there!

[●] We're thinking that DA/Tumblr will play some part in the development of the shop ;3.

[●] Will be a rp active shop, but you are welcome to make your own characters and have them sit in the catacombs ( aka u dont have to rp the characters you make at all. Its your choice - we are not going to force you to play your characters) . Any premade characters will rehomed after 6 month inactivity. Some premades may be exceptions to this rule. Depending on the character in question.

[●] Anyone who is inactive for 6months without prior notice to someone- your character is assumed they are 'ill' or had a family emergancy and will have to remain in their current grade. The only way they can chance without waiting another year in school. They will have to take a 'test' to see if they can advance

Monster High was the 'spot' to be, but even with the school's inner expansions, could the school handle the over-crowded classrooms and cremetrias. It was an extremely messy situation and through many many failed attempts at creating new schools was denied finally- They had a break!

Monster High, A dedicated Headless Headmistress Bloodgood promoting equality amongst all monsters. In recent events and accomplishments of her success in monster high they decided to expand. Much to her surprise more schools started to adopt the methods of 'harmony'.

"Be yourself, Be unique, Be a monster."

Though purists alike still did not accept the idea completely, some schools even purists started to make 'species' appreciation events and field trips to monster high. It has become an iconic facility that is a must see for all. Even 'normies'. Though the world of monsters - Especially - The legendary headmistress Bloodgood would have loved to co-mingle humans. After the many failed attempts at normie field trips, the program was suspended til further notice. That did not delay the progress to fellow monsters though. In hopes to unity the hideous and the ugly outreach programs became available along with sponsors and many schools popping up. This is where _______ High comes in.

A sister to Monster high, _____ High has opened its ghoulish doors to new monsters. ____ High started to notice the 'feel' of schooling and not only for high school feel students but more adult students. They strive for ages ranging from what they 'appear' and 'mental state' to be 15-25. These classes are not centered soley by age- but abilities specific to their species as well. To better educate the new generation. Why such ages? Because the school noticed that a lot of the monsters missed out on chances that could have been for the better. So what is so special about _____ High? The co mingling of not only monsters but ages as well. But the opening of this new additional education method is in the works. The program will be called:

Dual-enrollment. This will show even 'older' adults that the world has a lot more to offer, and to rehabilitate lost cultural differences. Adults may leave the school like college students can. Only appearing for 'technical' classes and ones they sign up for. So don't be alarmed or surprised if you have a young draco next to you in class. The school's academics teaches fear grades - Freshmeat High school to Sophbrains in college.

For now, the 'extensioned' building for older monsters has been in the works and is the talk of the monster government. The first school to approach the subject at all. Safety is of the essence, though contact would be exclusive to technical classes only- it is still being ironed out. Adult applications are closed til the school can accept this new trying branch.

But just newly opening, the academics and test scoring has been the talk of the government and with the new flaux of students the monster government has decided to broadcast it as one of the top schools next to Monster High. Specializing in homing of the specialties of each monster and having a variety of extra curricular activities for young monsters and preparing them for the scary world of adult monsters!

High School Attendees may only apply, for now.

Head of The School/Principle - ???? - Played by: Chi Sohma
The picture is not accurate, but most monsters think principle is a he but no one including staff has met him. So a student decided to draw up a picture of what she thought looked like the principle. The Principle is said to be a very vicious yet fair monster. Taking pride in the school- this monster has an iron fist with a softness that can be admired. A lot of stories were told and lots of rumors circulate of what the principle is but all we know is that the principle rides what seems like a somewhat dragon. Stubby- the height of a horse that has multiple eyes that aren't really eyes since its blind. It glows green from them though, and when it stomps it leaves traces of burnt green in color.

Nurse/Professor Seymore - Space Plant Monster - Played by: Chi Sohma
She is the loyal, cute, smart, and very subdue teacher. Loud noises scare her, but music calms her ( you'll hear a lot of calming music in her office and classes ). Seymore is soft spoken and quite a mess sometimes but all in all she loves to teach and take care of others. Originally she was just the nurse but when the job opening came up, and the fact she is going to collage for her doctorates in the science she took up the Mad Science for freshmeats and Softbrains.

Mr Wolfe - Werewolf - Played By: Rabid
He is something of a mystery, a leader to some and a great enemy to others. He enjoys guiding others to push themselves further, and he's certain that they'll thank him some day even if they're rolling their eyes at him now. The overruling goal of his class is betterment through teamwork and physical activity, and while he may seem like something of a hard-a** his intentions are at least kind. Weaker, slower students are still held in high regard, but he has absolutely no patience for laziness. Rumor has it that he played casketball in his younger years (not that he's particularly old), so who knows why he became a teacher in the first place?

Miss Augen - TriClops - Played By: Rabid
She is bubly and energetic, an eterna optimist. The school could be on fire, and Miss Augen would be reassuring the students with singsongy tones. Nothing gets her down, even the sourest notes from her most disinterested pupil. The performing arts were always her go-to pleasure, and against her parents wishes she attented university to become a music teacher. Theater is also a deep passion (who doesn't love a good musical?) and so she heads the Drama Club with the same enthusiasm after-hours. She is known for her openness with students, always willing to lend an understanding ear or sympathetic shoulder.

Professor Agador Winkfreed - Chupacabra - Played by: Valdmir Talamore
Agador is a fun teacher never acting ver serious unless you insult his perfession in anyway. He has a habit of licking his fangs between flipping through pages of his notes, or while students are taking test. Agador is not fun in the least when he is hungry. He tends to revert to his more wild nature in that case. Best to bring a meat snack with you if you want to ensure a good class.

Positions: Full time, Part time, and Guest and even base artists.
Styles: All is welcomed. We're looking for quality over quantity.
Pay: Will like to discuss but its over 300K+ for each character. Pay per character etc will be heavily discussed upon hire. Also will be looking at benefits for artists in shop.
Responsibilities: 2-3 Students a month? Maybe 2? Ratios would be student wise ( 1 Free vs 2 Paid ) Preferably Full Bodies but may allow Knee ups. All of them must be colored.

+ Pixel Artists.
Positions: Part time, Guest, Possibly full time
Styles: All is welcomed. We're looking for quality over quantity.
Pay: Negotiated. For every pixel done, we need a price by pixel sort of deal to be worked out.
Responsibilities: Providing Ideas and pixels for items, customized assortments etc. This would be leisured in time wise, but I'd like to get the main items discussed.

+ Pet Artists.
Positions: Part time, and will hire Base pet artists as well
Styles: All is welcomed. We're looking for quality over quantity.
Pay: 100K-200K ? Negotiable.
Responsibilities: 2-4 Pet slots or giveaways. This is for individual students, some can be customed while others can be 'base's. Up to artist.

Positions: Thread Mod, Guild Mod ( x2? ) , Cert Mod, Event Mod
Pay: Negotiated. Pay can depend on participation,
Responsibilities:
- Thread and Guild, Active participation at least one day out of the week, the more active the better.
- Events would be managing the events and making sure to schedule and be there to run it if the artist can not do it. Basically a coordinator making sure everything runs smoothly in an event, even if they have to get down and dirty ;3
- Certs would be in charge of certing students and working along side artists.

+ Don't take more than you can handle, I love all artists and I personally have been through that MANY times so I don't want anyone else to over work themselves.
+ I can make considerations for those applying. Depending on the quality of work, let me know how much stuff YOU can do and in what time frame.
+ I want to accommodate everyone.
+ COMMUNICATION is a key factor in all of this. Shops run off of constant communication and in order to keep that, we'll do an in house survey on those messengers and see what works best for everyone.
+ DON'T leave us hanging. Please, let me know whats going on. Don't leave me out of the loop somewhere, IRL happens, and everyone knows this. Talk to me D; I dont bite! Im a veggie vampire ;3;.
+ Don't ever force quantity over quality. If your having an art block, or want to push out more- think about the people involved and how much we adore our characters. We'd like to keep Quality over Quantity any fright of the day.
+ PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Before you take a custom or premade, please make sure you can complete it. Or let someone else take the custom. If you can't and need to pass it on- make sure its ok with the customer.
+ Good contact with your customers. I want us all to feel like a family and just a community all loving the same thing. ^___^b lets display that!
+ IMPORTANT: If you want to be a full time artist. We ask you contribute 1 ( male and female depending on your preferences ) lineart for the community to use. I know this sounds crazy, but after talking about it. We'd like a sort of 'honey pot' . This is to more unite variety since the initial bases will be free for use up to two pets for each person as 'official'.
+ EVERYTHING else would be paid for. Either by activity points or gold.
+ PLEASE. Be aware that this is a lot for 'just fun' and 'to keep me busy' kinda thing. Pay will be discussed because two artists here ( myself and one other ) don't care a LOT about the gold. Its for the pure fun and activity of the shop. We can discuss pay upon arrival. We'd like to stay affordable.
