OVERVIEW

Colorists are the backbone of any shop. Without you guys, we have no pets and thus we have no shop to run!
That being said, it's important that you be somewhat active. We like to see you around now and then. Stop in and say hi, even if you don't really have much to say it makes a big difference when people know that you're actually around.

Aside from that, though, you can expect to work in a very open and friendly environment. We have discussions concerning major events so no one is caught off guard and event planning will always begin at LEAST one month before the opening date. You will have the ability to host your own small events and contests if you like doing that sort of thing, and customs/breedings are under a 'color at will' policy (though we do ask you to chip in with breedings here and there!).

Sales-Only Colorists
★ Currently looking for 1 or 2.
★ Sort of like a Full Timer, only minus the breedings.

Breeding-Only Colorist
★ Considering hiring 1-2 people to do ONLY breedings and possibly 1-2 flatsale pets here and there.
★ Editing capabilities are highly preferred, but is certainly not a deal-breaker.

Part Time Colorists

How Schedules Work
Each month will vary for colorists. One month you will do only sales, the next you might do only breedings, and the next month only customs. Essentially you will have, in total, 3 months in each category plus 1 more in your category of choice. You will also get 1 full month off, because we don't want you getting burned out! October is considered our "Staff Event Month" which is sort of like what Winter/X-mas is for most other shops.
As far as how you want those months to be divided, it's up to you, but Eauo will otherwise rotate each month to be different so you're not doing to same thing for more than 1 month in a row.

If you are a breeding-only colorist, then you'll only do breedings, obviously, but you can change up how you select your slots.

If you are not approved to do breedings then you'll only do sales and customs until you are approved to do breedings later (should you apply to be).

Full Time
        ★ Color 5 pets during 'sales' months for flatsales, games and raffles.
        ★ Open a minimum of 3 customs slots during 'custom' months.
        ★ Open a minimum of 2 breeding slots during 'breeding' months.
        ★ Complete 1 free RP-earned custom OR breeding every other month slotted for the relevant category. (Required)
        ★ May open bribe slots for customs and breedings if you've doubled your minimum for the month.
        ★ You may ask to hold an auction during sales rotations once every other rotation.

Customs
★ You keep 100% of profit made from these, yay!
★ You keep 50% of gold paid for pre-made edits, the rest is sent to the mule.
★ Winged customs are restricted to 1 for each time you open slots.

Breedings
★ You keep 100% of profit for these, including edited breedings (even if they have pre-made edits). Yay!

Bribes
★ You keep 100% of profit from these.

Paid Raffles
★ 80% for these.

Flatsales
★ 30% for these, the majority of your reward will be in credits!

Auctions
★ You keep 90% of the total. So if the auction goes for 1mil, you keep 900k and the other 100k goes to the shop.
★ Regular auctions may be held once for every 10 adult hounds and 5 growing hounds completed (15 total), OR 25 adult hounds and no more than once every 2 months. 2 familiars = 1 adult hound. Pets from auctions/bribes are not counted for this quota.

Pre-Made Edits
★ 50% of whatever their price is for customers in the shop. It may change often because of inflation.
★ In addition, each edit done will earn you points which you can use toward a free custom/breeding/edits, etc.

Application Requirements
★ Please download the file provided and color at least 3 samples on the deer lines.
★ In addition, color three "offspring" from ONE of the parent sets in a mock breeding (unless applying for Sales-Only).
★ Edits are not required, but if done should be on par with the quality of the lines provided.
★ Remember that while unnatural markings such as stars/circles/checkerboard patterns are allowed we do tend to prefer they be kept rather minimal. Our pets have a more naturalistic look to them in general, so bear this mind.
★ Post your samples in the form provided. Follow additional instructions in the form, please!

Coloring Guidelines.
When I check for quality, I will be looking for the following:
★ Pet shading is colored to enhance the color of the pet.
★ Lineart is shaded darker than the base AND the shading in a color reflective of the shading/base.
★ Texture layer's opacity is adjusted when necessary to not overwhelm the pet.
★ In addition, edits must match the art's lineart and shading styles.

The lines here are not colored dark enough in certain areas - they are too light.

The shading here is dull and flat because it's grey when the pet is blue -- try blue or purple tones instead! For warm colors (reds, yellows, oranges) try orange/reddish or purple tones. Experiment and see what works best - but be careful not to go overboard and make the shading too dark, or too light, either!

Assistant Certist

★ Your main duties will be with certing random pets such as those from customs, breedings, and random games or contests in the thread. You'll also be helping to update the Owner's List when needed. Details will be worked out with the senior certist after hire.

★ Post certs in a timely manner.
★ Grow all pets on time. You can keep a log in the staff forum if this is convenient for you.
★ Maintain the Owner's List in alphabetical order, checking that links lead to the correct cert.

Certing Requirements
★ Certs for pets must be posted within 1 week after an event has ended.
★ Individual cert requests (customs, breedings, random games, etc) should be posted within 1 week of the request being posted.
★ Growths for growing pets should be posted within 5-7 days but may be delayed for as long as 10 days if necessary.

Owner List Upkeep
★ Must be updated at least TWICE per month, but is preferable that you update after each dropoff batch.
★ Keep a log of which pets you have updated in the owner's list in the staff forum.


PAYMENT

OVERVIEW

As Assistant Manager you are basically Eauo's right hand. That being said it is VERY important that you are someone who is not only willing and able to spend time in the shop but will genuinely enjoy doing so. For that reason we would prefer someone who is already very familiar with the setting and general rules OR someone who is willing to spend the time and energy in learning about them.

Being Assistant Manager comes with all the responsibility that the title entails. You may need to answer questions or address concerns from time to time, and may even need to fill in for others if they are not available (such as helping to host events, or roleplay contests, etc).

But, don't let that scare you away! We are really a very relaxed shop with some amazing regulars and I'm sure that if you take this position you'll find it to be very rewarding!

★ Be active in the thread at least every few days or so. We understand if you get busy (we're only human!) but just let us know if so. We don't need our Asst. Manager poofing with no word.
★ Help + Fix things where needed. See a spelling error somewhere -- correct it. Something posted twice or posted in the wrong place -- fix it. Someone have a question or need help with something -- help them out! Pretty straightforward c:
★ Kick Eauo in the @ss when she slacks off.

Monthly Requirements
★ Approve cert requests for names every 2-3 days in the certing thread. Approved requests should have a * edited into the bottom. Requests that need changed should quote the user in their post with what needs to be changed.
★ Set up a thread if necessary in the staff section for any events we may be having. This is mainly for larger themed events and should be kept orderly with lists of who is doing what, start/end dates, and any previews/banners of pets the Events Manager has put together.
★ Help to keep things tidy.


PAYMENT

As a Roleplay Manager you are a major creative driving force in the shop! You will help to plan major meta plot events, but also smaller RP and Writing contests to keep people interested and submerged in the world of Hell Bound. You will be counted upon to come up with new ideas and to share them with Eauo, and will be involved in major decisions concerning plot points and the like.

Because of the nature of the nature of this position it is expected and required that you be active in the shop. People will want to ask questions, and they will want to see their RP Manager around!

This can be a very involved position in the shop, but will also be a lot of fun!

General Expectations
★ Approve character profiles and help patrons to correct information which does not fit within the shop.
★ Remember that Summoner and Wyst profiles MUST have their certed pet depicted or linked in the profile before it can be approved. This is to ensure that all names have already been approved. In the case of regular human characters you must be familiar with the naming conventions of the shop before approving the profile.
★ You must be familiar with what is and is not allowed when it comes to the summoning scene of the hound. Summonings only take place in the caverns, for example, and both hound and summoner must sacrifice something that makes sense. If you're unsure you may ask Eauo to clarify.

★ Help run and oversee Meta Plot related RP events by participating in RP, playing as NPC's, and helping to plan the event.
★ Answer questions regarding anything character or story related -- such as how magic works, what the difference between a summoner/whysy/regular human is, naming rules, etc.

Monthly Requirements

★ Host at least one Writing Contest per month (includes a prompt). Contests should run for at least 2 weeks to give patrons time to enter.

I hope you like making lists! Eauo sucks at them :C
We'll be counting on you to organize events on a monthly basis. This includes individual flatsales/raffles/games, etc. You'll also need to make banners and preview images for any pets that will be given away/sold. On top of that we will rely on you to keep ticket lists up to date during events, as well as potentially answering questions during events that may arise. It can sometimes be a little hectic during large events, but we are always here to help-- and it's a lot of fun, besides!

Because of this we will need you to be available during typical "large event" months. These will include Halloween and Christmas, and for other "event months" we usually also have something for Valentines Day, Easter, and some kind of Summer-Themed event as well.

We know that it can be a little nuts around here at times, but that's half the fun, right?

★ You must be active during events to keep things updated.
★ Keep track of all tickets for flatsales/raffles/contests/etc during events, as well as auction bids.
★ Have a strong knowledge of naming rules and shop canon so that you understand how to properly set up certain events, as well as to answer questions.

Monthly Requirements
★ Host at least 2 flatsale each month.
The type of flatsale you host is largely up to you. Speed sale, flaffle style or even an 'open' style where you just post the preview and let people claim them until they're all gone. Just be mindful that people enjoy different types of sales, so try to shake things up and do different ones now and then.

★ Host 1 paid raffle every two months.
★ Co-host large events with help from other managers every 3-5 months.
★ Move closed events to the staff archives guild (or make a copy of the event there).
