If you have a friend that wants a small animal see what she thinks of these: bushbaby, elephant shrew, dwarf mongoose, hedgehog, hyrax, or spring hare. 4laugh
All are native to Africa and most are under 2lbs in size.

BTW I read your opening story to my gf and she loved it. heart heart

oh... just a side note... I found this spiffy website. It has 3 live webcams located in areas of Africa. It's kinda cool so check it out. Ignore the adds and pick a cam. it seems that at least 1-2 of them are manned so they move and adjust to show you the animals better. Just remember... when it's day in the US it's night over there lol.

Oooh, that IS a spiffy website... But you must recall that Dad still only has dialup. Maybe I can check it out at the library? And I'm glad Meg liked it. X3 I don't know if you noticed, but I changed it a little to match the name I have. XD It works well way.

And you know Meghan! It's Meghan! (Yep, that Meghan! XD) She really thought the bat-eared foxes were "kyooooote!"... But I'm also going to put in Bushbabies because they're WAY too cute. X3 With their giant eyes, and little hands... <3
