This place is still very much under construction, so please bear with us as we find our way. <3

General Rules

Follow Gaia's ToS.
Have a look around and read about things! You are always welcome to ask questions.
Do not take/use Qarumali's artwork - it was created exclusively for this shop and doing so would be art theft, which is a reportable offense. Please also respect that the concept (stories, descriptions, setting information and other written work) also belongs to the shop.
Be nice to one another! We want to maintain a positive shop environment. <3
Please contact the shop if there's a problem.
Be a good sport! If you don't win, there will be other opportunities.
RP isn't required to get a pet, but it is encouraged! There will be events that do require RP.
Engaging in the Battle System is optional, but doing so unlocks exclusive rewards.
Keep the post styles to a minimum - keep the thread clean.
Get involved! While lurking is fine, it's never a bad thing to say hello once in a while!
... Which includes the final point - do your best to make everyone feel included!

Shop rules are subject to change.

Sales Information

Read the rules posted at each invidual sale.
Qarumali uses its own currency - QC. You can earn this in various ways.
Prices: Can be found at the individual sales / vendors.
If you win a free pet, make sure you post it for certing within 48h. Otherwise, it may be rehomed. If you need more time, please contact the shop within the 48h.
No reselling of pets in any shape or form.
Co-owning is not allowed.
You may not rehome a pet yourself. Contact the shop and we will do it for you.

Naming Rules
As a whole, the story takes place in a medievalesque timeframe. Therefore, avoid modern terms (ex: computer, tech, battery, neon, and so on) in general.

Realm of Humans: Imina
(main RP setting)

The Realm of Humans is vast, but unlike the Realm of the Qarumali, it is full of internal borders and has no true common ground. However, since the War of Ages there has been relative peace - however long this will last.

We will be starting out in the City of Imina, located in the barren lands near the south eastern desertlands. Years and years ago, people gathered here, when not as much as a single building existed, to seek refuge from the unrelenting war. It has since then grown into a city of considerable size, consisting of people whose early generations come from all over the Realm.

Though it was without a name for a long time, certain events soon put the word "Imina" on its inhabitants tongues. At present, it is simply called "City of Imina", though it has had other names. The most notable building of all is the Sanctuary of Imina. It is located in the very heart of the city and holds its whole history within its walls.

The Valley of Zeemrae

For as long as they can remember, the Qarumali have lived in peace. Although the various species predominantly live in their own areas, there is no animosity between them and they have a common gathering ground: The Valley of Zeemrae.

the QARUMALI

INFO BLURB: The Qarumali are native to Zeemrae, a realm that is the source of all magic. Creatures of Magic. Sentient beings that can think, feel and even speak. The latter, however, is an ability they only have while in their own world. If in the human realm, they cannot speak, neither with humans nor other Qarumali.

It is uncertain how and why Qarumali end up in the human world - the only thing that is certain is that a bond with a human is required.

the Cai'tsha

One of the species native to the areas around Zeemrae.

Coins (shop currency)
This shop will try to operate with its own currency, called Coins.
This means that it seeks to exist independently of Gaia's inflation.

You can read about how to earn currency in the Guild.

Amount of coins rewarded, and prices, are subject to change as we figure things out.
Currency will go live when the shop officially opens.

Battles
In Qarumali you can earn currency and ranking/reputation through weekly matches with other players. There will also be small "mini-bosses" released monthly that a player can fight.

Battles will in general be quite simple and won't require a whole lot of time to complete.
There will be chances to learn new skills as you gain higher rank, which can make battling more dynamic (and hopefully fun!).

Battles made available as part of events may require more time and effort.

You can keep track of PVP matches at the Training Grounds!

Ranks & Rewards
In Qarumali it is possible to unlock reward tiers based on battle experience / reputation,
giving you exclusive items that cannot be earned any other way.

There will also be rosters listing various achievements a player has earned,
as well as monthly "Spotlights" - you name it!

Roleplay
The setting will be desiged to nurture and encourage RP,
and there will be events that center around this (Meta RP Events).
These events will mainly take place in the human realm.

RP will never be a requirement to keep a character (unless specifically stated), however.

Vendors
There are plans for different types of vendors - stay tuned!
You can find these merchants and vendors in the Marketplace in the Guild.
There are also plans to let players trade items they have aquired in the future.
This means that if you win an item you don't really want, you can trade it for another item.

Inventory
Because of the vendor system (and plans of trading in the future), each player will have an official "inventory". More details on this coming!
