A Really Bad Idea
You know, I've yet to find a reason to like Truman.
He doesn't; we haven't "declared" a war since the 1940s. We've still fought them. Truman's fault.
- Or what about that psycho of a secretary of defence basically saying the US President doesn't need Congress to declare war.
As a general rule, though, ******** Truman. Especially when it comes to wars.
We did not fight a "war" during the Philippine–American War nor the Boxer Rebellion, among the many other various Banana Wars. Looking at the timeline of United States of America conflicts we haven't seen a year without a conflict.
