I hope people can realize that Anonymous the group of kids on 4chan/others are a lot different than the Anonymous that performs successful (in the effect that they cause some sort of disruption to their target) attacks on various organizations.

One can be anonymous at pretty much anything. This forum, you can do it. Most other places on the net. Admittedly, your only anonymous in name or appearance, and anyone with a moderate idea of how to look for information can find you if the domain allows access to records or how visible you allow yourself to be on the web.

Either way, I can see the effect that this 'organization' has on certain entities and I think that a lot of what they perform is effective and useful. Some of it is simply side show attraction. Some of it is completely useful and proves a point/gets the message across.
