He's a Socialist, censorship is their crack cocaine, soon it will be the internet or foreign tv shows or books from America, and all the while the debt mounts, the jobs dry up and the poverty begins skyrocketing, and Hugo is off banning video games to rescue the souls of the nation's youth. He needed to run that audit on his media because a good % of it is American owned, and supported the coup attempt. I don't know why he decided to ban violent video games however. He's been extremely anti-violence from the get go. Anti-violence? Are you talking about that same s**t bag that threatened both Columbia and Honduras recently and saying 'non-violent?' The glorious nation of Venezuela has had lies made up by its hateful Imperialist neighbours who wish to attack the great man of the people Hugo Chavez, in fact it was Honduras and Colombia who collaborated with secret CIA spies in attempting to subvert glorious Venezuela. When Chavez falls, and he's set up for a fall in the near future, Venezuela is in the slow process of crashing, his reforms were not the magic bullet they were talked up to be, his nationalization plan is rapidly biting him in the a**, and the unemployment rate , the steady economic downturn and poverty are creeping back up. When he falls all the things he's done will be on show, give it time. |

You know, calling Venezuela a socialist paradise is like calling China a capitalist paradise. It's saying absolutely nothing. Such a discussion has nothing to do with liberals or "Hollywood", which believe in a hybrid economic system and capitalism respectively.
Around here in the US, the blue-dog Democrats, Republicans, and conservative Independents are the ones that believe in strict censorship laws (liberals generally hate the DLC). Which is a social argument, and not an economic one. |
