The Republicans lately have been arguing that Democrats and Liberals should not engage in politics. Basically- they want a war where one side is allowed to shoot but acts shocked and appalled when they are shot back at. Imagine that- Roosevelt sends a letter to Hitler, stained with tears begging him to tell his soldiers to stop shooting at us.

Again, I am tempted to find this funny but the problem is we are not dealing with kids- we are dealing with adults who wield real political power. I think we need to recognize exactly who we are dealing with, and armed with this knowledge let them know- We will not stop exercising our rights in the face of attacks just because you whine.

If they have the right to play party politics, then we have the same right.
