While I didn't read the whole thread here, and someone has probably brought this up already, but what's new about this? Popular voting at the ballot has never, since the invention of the delegate+electoral college, got a pres into office.

Im talking about the selection of the Presidential candidates before the Presidential race.

You know how the media keeps saying that Romney is winning because he apparently got more delegates...

All you have to do is have more of your supporters stay till the end and have them become the delegates. It doesnt matter if Romney won the caucus and got popular support, if Ron Paul supporters became the delegates simply by staying till they select the delegates then Paul (or whoever) wins.

Thats what Im getting at...

Delegates do not actually reflect the feeling of the people and the entire thing is nothing more than a ******** waiting game and a game of whos supporters are more active and willful to become delegates.

Thats the issue. This numbers primary s**t is all a ******** sham and theres no way of determining if Romneys winning or anyone else is because we dont know who became the delegates. Romney might get more delegates but it doesnt matter as they dont have to vote Romney they can vote Paul.

As for Obama and McCain...

It was argued that electronic voting machines would be rigged for McCain or that if Obma won he would have been assassinated.

I never got that, why would they rig the voting machines for Mccain? If you're a high financier, war loving elite, noone is going to be better for continuing the Bush agenda than Obama. With Mccain the left would have been crazy upset. With Obama, they could simply continue(or in the case of Afghanistan, escalate) what had already been going on for the past decade.

That being said, the way the media swooned over Obama made it an essential guarantee that he was going to be elected.

Yep. No need for an election steal, since most the media/corporate/high finance backing went to Obama and thus the Hope-ium could take over.

This is much better than O-Bomb-Uh. Please continue to use hope-ium while phasing O-Bomb-Uh out. O-Bomb-Uh sounds forced and you have to stress the syllables or type it in order for it to be intelligible, both of which break the rule of snarky nicknames being shorter and more pointed. Hope-ium, on the other hand, slides off the tongue and the 'H' is immediately discernible when heard. It's faaaaaaaaaaar more clever, and amusing.
