Jumps the Gun
This will unfold a bit differently than we can expect from the information given to us.

I'm being cautious, just like with the Health Care Bill, the wording may be interpreted in numerous ways.

This can go so wrong.

it can but I highly doubt it especially with the HC reform. well as long as Obama stays true to what he means by "affordable"

Well, winning Seattle was important. I bet Microsoft supported this bill.
Btw, The entire west coast is like this, the coastal area is Democrat liberal and the east side or rural ares are conservative Republicans.
Seattle was given. Come on....Starbucks, Microsoft, Google, Apple....not realy "conservative" companies.
Though Apple is a bit of a douche in their ethics.
Apple is located in California and so is Google.
Lynwood has Apple. Redmond has Google and Microsoft. Seattle has Starbucks.

But think about it, if it passed it would be a major victory both for gay rights and against the church.

Any social progression is a victory against the church's regressive element. I fail to see how this is not already a vendetta against them.
