And I, yours.

Miss Skuld
The health of an economy is more than just the unemployment rate, is it not?
The health of the economy is the health of the people. The people being the producers and consumers. All things lead to this.
Unless, I am unable to grasp the eloquent subtleties of your writing, you are seen here contesting the fact that "the health of an economy is more than just the unemployment rate" and buttressing your argument with glib observations about the nature of an economy.
This is also in line with previous statements such as:
Raywazza
Remember, the economy is the abstract concept of consumers and producers. So once there are more people with jobs (eg producers) the economy will continue to lack consumers and stay in the pits.
...where you are directly correlating the health of the economy with the employment situation, in support of your principal argument that unemployment is not a lagging indicator.
If that is not your argument, then your composition skills are terribly poor. Which really only reinforces my need for the name of your University, as now I must warn away prospective English majors as well as students interested in subjects regarding economics.
