No big deal. It's Iran's right as a sovereign nation to work for nuclear power why should we deny them that right for which they are entitled to? (as a sovereign nation).

I'd have no problem with nuclear power, but if I thought that their intent was to make weaponry, and I do, then I'd happily walk over their rights as a sovereign nation to stop them from destabilizing the region.

Currently most of the reports that have come out was that Iran was not only YEARS away from a nuclear weapon but that there has been no evidence to suggest that Iran is actually using Uranium Enrichment for their arms programme.

On another note: Israel has nukes.

I could probably do more but, meh.

The best way to approach these issues is to remain in a neutral position and see if evidence points to one way or another. Currently it points toward no fear.

iran should not be allowed to have a nuclear anything until they become more friendly

i mean, their government is pretty ******** up, they should be shunned by the world and driven back into the dark ages until they shape up. they want to hang gay folks and treat women like its the 1500's, they dont need nuclear power

I bet removing their democraticly elected leader and putting a dictator in his place had nothing to do with why their civil rights didn't shape up properly since then.
are you really trying to blame the US for how ******** up their country is?

Should we start in the 1950's or 1970's?

So, what happens if Iran does make nuclear weapons? Do you think they'll use them or not? What would Israel do to stop this from happening?

These are genuine questions.

So, what happens if Iran does make nuclear weapons?

Although they hit the point where they were capable of making it, they held it up there for show and they and went back to business of aiming for civilian use.

If by some reason everyone in Iran goes insane and decides to make nuclear weapons during their transitioning stage, then Israel will kindly be given the gesture to go ahead with their planes and go pew pew pew BOOM!
If Israel by some odd reason declines, the U.S. will do the job.

However, if Iran decides to make nuclear weapons post Industrial stage, then no one is going to do anything. At most there will be furious shaking of fists and maybe a couple of environmentalists will be tying themselves to trees...

Unless I see major evidence in the incompetence of Iranian brains in factoring the impact of mutually assured destruction and death, I can safety say, "No, they will not use it."

They have the ability to choose to initiate a bombing raid with or without global approval and no one is going to do s**t about it.
There will be massive shaking of fists from "Democracy Now" crowd and Iranians will be given more reasons to not get off their a** and instead continue regurgitating excuses why they are idiots.

These are genuine questions.

They are genuinely idiotic questions that can easily be explained by a three years old with an IQ of a coffee cup if we just stopped treating Iranians as Goats that are incapable of thinking.

Yes.

they have every right to have nukes, and i dont think that we should interfere

Well, they did sign the non-proliferation. And after all their hate towards Israel and the US, people are afraid to let them have that much power.

Iran will never be a threat to the United States regardless of what they do or do not do.

Yes.
We do have a long history of ******** up the Middle East.
Hell, most of the people we end up fighting nowadays are in power because of us.

I'd endorse them having nukes if they could have a stable government and actually, y'know, have a fair voting system without it being rigged. Otherwise, I'm not going to trust them worth a damn.

I don't know which is more boring-seeing people diss Obama when they said nothing about Bush, or seeing people call things "gay" and then speak of how they're all for equality.

No, but they can target Israel. And no one in the Middle East with the exception of (maybe) Egypt will bat an eyelid.
