Why is North Korea so hateful towards the US?

Why are they testing missiles with the admitted intent to nuke us?

What is it they hate?
They hate me. Sorry, I'll just leave. I'll go to, like, Canada or something. Sorry.

Blessed Fairy

Well, to be brief, a lot of the hate stems from the fact that the US intervened and fought for south Korea's democratic party when the communist party of north Korea tried to take over the Korean back in the 1950's. Since then, the government has cut off ties to the rest of the world (mostly) and has tried to make a perfect society under communism. Thought, I don't seem to understand how refusing international aid during one of the most devastating famine to ever hit the modern world or locking up entire families for one persons crime is how a good society would work. Also, North Korea wants to "reunite" with the South one day and create one, communist Korea. Finally, it helps if you hall a lot of propaganda to back up all that crazy.

Is it's messed up, yes it is and there is much more to it. I suggest that you should at least try to watch the video's that Vice did when they where inside Korea, I found them to be quite good (thought now a bit out dated). Vice-Inside Korea part 1 out of 3.

Because, due to malnourishment and apeshit leadership, they're all too short to ride the fun rides at the carnival. That pisses people off. Don't believe me? Go to a carny and look at how mad the short kids are.

Actually N. Korea are the big guys. They have one of the largest military personal imaginable.

Having a lot of troops doesn't mean a whole lot when

A) You have no means to transport them to fight anywhere besides a neighbor.

And

B) Any other military power can kill a great deal of them with their greatly superior air force.

Indeed, however, the DPRK have means to transport their entire military presence along with an amazing air force, perhaps even superior than the United States air force.
For example, DPRK own the air-transport vehicles of Ilyushin Il-76, Antonov An-24 & Antonov AN-2 along with various transportation ships within their navy inventory. Most of the North Koreans navy warships include howitzer's and missiles which can destroy a United States vessel within seconds. Baring this in mind, you cannot underestimate the DPRK's powerful military presence. I personally believe that if a war does break out between the United States and the DPRK, the DPRK will annihilate the U.S.

if that were the case, they would have done it by now. besides, dont you know about those subs we have? each one has more firepower on board than has ever been detonated in the history of the earth combined. and we have several of these nuclear sharks patrolling. scary to think about, really. one of these things could potentially end the earth

North Korea have no intention on going to war with the United States. However, they are preparing if such an event does happen considering the United States IS threatening war with them. Also, It's funny how stupid you sounded when you stated some of America's fire-power. It's almost as if North Korea are running around only with a few AK-47s. lol

sounds like its you whos stupid for coming to that conclusion. of course they have a stockpile of arms, thats what they have all those prison camps for. but regardless, those losers cant even get a missile off the ground, and even if they do figure it out, you'd have to be pretty naive to think that the united states who spends more on military than the other top 9 spenders combined doesnt have a way to shoot a missile down.
