No other religion goes to such extreme lengths to convert others. Not even Jehovah's witnesses.
So says you. I can name off the top of my head that claims you're supposed to die if you convert from their religion. And they claim you're born into it, too.
Mormonism believes that there are several levels of the afterlife. You have a hell for sinners, a limbo for heretics, an earth-like paradise without sex for Jack Mormons and the only true paradise with God... who used to be a man. In order to get to this paradise, you must abstain from caffeine and alcohol, you have to be a missionary if you're a man, you have to marry a return missionary as soon as possible if you're a woman and do it young (Early 20's usually), women are set to a higher stigma than men, a man can have sex with his wife without her consent, a woman must be the housewife while the man can do as he pleases, BC is allowed, but women must be fruitful, everyone has to donate at least 10% of the household income to the church, you cannot swear, you cannot masturbate, you cannot gamble, you cannot party, you cannot smoke, you cannot take certain drugs, you are expected at church every Sunday, you cannot leave the church even if it costs you your life to stay, you are obligated by god to convert any heretic, letting that slide is a sin, you are supposed to be intolerant and unwelcoming to anyone outside your faith, you can NEVER congregate with them and the list goes on. And that's to be with God.
On top of that, they despise homosexuals and bisexuals (AKA me)
Show me where it says they despise and hate homosexuals.
Did you forget about Proposition 8? That was funded primarily by LDS tithing.
That has nothing to do with hate. That has to do with fighting something they find immoral. I personally don't give a s**t about that.
