So Obama's black. The amount of melanin in a person's skin makes NO DIFFERENCE WHATSOEVER!!! Who cares about what's on the outside? It doesn't contribute at all to what's on the inside. Also, as John Kennedy said, "The constitution is colorblind." If you hate blacks, ask yourself if there's any REAL reason you hate them besides the color of their skin. Is there anything on the inside you hate? If not, stop being racist.

No I do not think that America is ready for a black president. Sure Obama is getting high praise and high campaign movement form many people of all walks of life. But in the end, the major factor of people is going to be that of race. If you look at it now, the race card is being played all like now, and sure it is part of tactics. But the fact that it is played shows that some Americans both black and white don't want that next important step in their society. A country that says it is powerful and for equality shows the world that if a black man can become presumptive nominee, there would be a hard path for him to go no matter what.

My problem is- why is this the only question that we're concerned about? OF COURSE we're ready 4 a black president. In my world-color isn't a problem but it seems that in polotics it's THE main issue. How about thinkin bout the things that a candidate has 2 offer rather than focus on the color of our next president's skin color? We were ready 4 Bush 2 come an f**k things up we're damn well ready for a black president.
