I am so sick and tired of people blaming the government

Note: I am a democrat so do not accuse me of blatant conservatism.

For the love of God, Allah, Buddah, the Floating Spaghetti Monster, and any other deities I have not mentioned, stop blaming the government for everything. The government's job is to look out for the good of the country as a whole, not your individual needs. There are 304 million of us. The government cannot pay attention to each and every one of your individual needs.
Yes, some branches are corrupt. Yes, some practices are questionable. Yes, sometimes they do stupid things. This does not mean that the government is to blame for every little trouble you might have. The government can help but to a limit.
They can't fix the economy if you don't get off your a** and actually, seriously LOOK FOR A JOB.
They can't fix racism, prejudice, or any other problem of society. Why? Because we are free to do as we wish. Fix yourselves.

When companies are laying off existing workers, asking them to hire new ones isn't always productive. Unfortunately, it's a customary first response to signs of recession.

Doesn't help that when that happens, the market is flooded with experienced workers looking to make a deal.

When someone deserves blame, they deserve it. Government ******** up just like any other body of people, private or public sector.

Do they deserve all the blame at the moment? On some points yes, on others no.

Yep. The government wasn't supposed to take care of everything. The Constitution basically said 'these are the only powers the national government has,' everything else was up to the people to sort out through the state governments. The federal courts were considered the weakest branch. The idea that the Supreme Court could declare a law unconstitutional didn't really cross anyone's mind until 1804. The president was supposed to manage the executive branch, not be considered a savior for the people.

Not only is it not the proper role of the national government, we don't need to rely on the government for much of what it does. It only weakens the focus for what the government should be doing.

Cops, courts, prisons, roads, fire fighters, paramedics, teachers, social workers, astronauts, scientists, curators, roads, highways, dams, electricity, water, the military.

And in every other civilized nation, better and cheaper healthcare than Americans have.
