Before we get republicans flaming me I'll explain why. One reason I hate it is because of its

In the 21st century an age of logic and reason we follow the word some desert scriblings and a fat hairy old Italian wearing a bathrobe and a retarded looking hat? As a former
aAmerican this pisses me off. I look down at our neighbor to the south of us. I think about the

earation of church and state. Your argument is invalid. They have no say when it comes to religion. Next they say homosexual activity causes STDS? WRONG! It's not the "gay" factor, it's the a**l factor. If a man and woman have a**l sex, she is more likely to get HIV than from vaginal intercourse. That area is not designed for penetration, so it tears easy. Those tears, even micro-tears, are an open gate for a virus. So in that sense they are also wrong again. Not only that
, they look down upon abortion and stem cell research. These things should be allowed and should not be this controversial! Abortion will help keep the population steady and allow a woman to control her body. It is hers. Not yours you redneck ********. Stem cell research could help cure diseases and further us in the science and medical
feilds fields. You have to break a few eggs to make an omlette. Or in this case a couple fetuses.

Sorry; it perhaps makes me a pedant to do that but that just irked me by the end of it (and that's without me complaining at American-English (which has a silly spelling style)).
Now; to respond more directly; I'd firstly point out the whole church and state thing doesn't work neccessarily against social conservatives. In part because, provided the state doesn't declare something its religion or actively enshrine one particular religion in legislature; the persuit of religious policies is still, sadly, valid.
As to STDs; said tears argument really fails to hold up with HIV given a culture as such needs to be at ~210K (37C or 97F (about Core body temp)) or higher or it'll pretty much die (although die isn't applicable given viruses are debatable on whether they're alive). And honestly; the argument as such works for a number of STDs. So I'm somewhat left to conclude it does require an element of sexual activity for transmission. They're wrong in accusing homosexuality alone, sure but damnit; one must continue one's theme of pedanted complaint.

Social conservatism: Backwards, out of date, and useless morals for a society which has moved past these morals and is just haunted by its past.
Fiscal conservatism: Ranges from those who love Feudalism to those who love Capitalism. Supports the Feudal system or support private ownership of the means of production. In both cases, hates large amounts of spending.
Liberal: Still Capitalist but wants spending and is "progressive". Is often socially progressive wanting change, is supportive of the welfare state and the programs.
Lefist: Not Capitalist, just left. Often believes in some form of Socialism or possibly State Capitalism. Dislikes private onwership of the means of production will favour some sort of collective ownership be it through the state or employee ownership.
That's just me though and I'm far left.
The end line there is a nice save; I'd have complained about your dichtonomy otherwise. If only because I'd argue not
all facets of liberalism equate to the capitalist perspectives therein.
