The one lady, Munley, was your standard-issue traffic cop, wasn't she?
Chains4w

The same was true here. It took four minutes to put him into a coma from which he has yet to awaken (though I suspect that it's medically induced at this point.)

Despite having their friends and colleagues murdered and or wounded, I'm pretty sure the hospital staff are being instructed to make everything as by the books with his ICU care...if I was the investigation team, I'd want this Nadal as coherent and healthy as possible to begin the interrogation and find out if he was being instructed or working with anyone.

Found a copy of Awlaki's 44 Ways to Support Jihad; a good light read.
Though his other works don't seen to be that violent...though then again, I just looked at their titles.
Awlaki was in the U.S. forever; how come he didn't get caught?

The article that Pocky posted is makes it seem like he flew to Virginia just to go to that specific mosque. He lived in Virginia and so did his parents.

1. Anwar Awlaki(or Aulaqi) didnt get caught for the *same* reasons the rest of the operatives assisting and financing the 9/11 hijackers didn't get caught: Theyre being protected.

Why else would Mamoun Darkazanli, a high level long time al Qaeda operative, and close Mohamed Atta and bin Laden associated be living a free man in Hamberg Germany despite being intimately involved with the 9/11 hijackers. Same reason a number of Yemenese nationals were "let go" despite working with several of the lead hijackers in 2000/2001, why rich elite Saudi government financiers are protected despite being financiers of bin Laden and the 9/11 hijackers.

This is the M.O. of the elite, who had Saudi Arabia ensure the hijackers had special visas
while protecting Pakistani Intelligence(S-Wing ISI) and Saudi GID Intelligence helping the hijackers at every step of the way.

My fellow 9/11 truthers somehow believe al Qaeda has been "framed", that 9/11 was a "false flag". Such could not be further from the case. Islamic jihadists are the all too willing pawns and
controlled assets of the new world order agenda

2. Right, but Mr. Awlaki was directly working with the Saudi government intel operative who was helping several of the 9/11 hijackers in San Diego(as well as one of the hijackers outright)
Was he not aware of his role, and was he used? Perhaps.

But a lot of these spook mosques are where the elite pump out their endless jihadists
(like the London and Hamberg mosques) and then handicap FBI and CIA from doing anything about it.

Hasan, the sole suspect in the massacre of 13 fellow US soldiers in Texas, attended the controversial Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt.
And that means what, exactly?

It means he was within elbow room of several of the 9/11 hijackers. Just like the main FBI informant used in the "Miami 7" case of 2006 was working in the same Florida mosque in early 2001 that Mohamed Atta and Marwen al-Shehi were going to.

Chains4w
Civilians were there, and did die. And, again, the bombing of the Cole and the Pentagon are both considered terrorist attacks, despite the fact that both were military targets with almost exclusively military personnel within

Doesn't it make you upset that one of the first things Obama did as President, was force the Gitmo judge to drop ALL charges against the USS Cole mastermind, and then all the other plotters and terrorists involved were freed by Yemense officials. That whole thing stinks to high heaven, especially since the FBI were never really allowed to investigate that October 2000 attack.

Also, had Flight 77 slammed into any other wedge of the Pentagon, you would have had an insane amount more casualties...perhaps the only good thing that came out of Hani Hanjour's erratic bizarre flight maneuvers.
Wendigo

And there's no reason to believe that he couldn't do it on his own - a much more impressive attack was carried out not long ago by a "lone wolf" in Oklahoma City. I suppose that it would have been hard to smuggle a Ryder truck full of ammonium nitrate onto a military base, though.

That "lone nut" story regarding Oklahoma City is TOTAL BULLSHIT.

We know 100% that Mcveigh had many accomplices, including both neo Nazi white seperatists
*and* Iraqi operatives. There's so much evidence showing Oklahoma was a much wider conspiracy, that the notion that that was just the work of some lone disaffected guy is ridiculous

Hell his partner Terry Nichols met with WTC plotter Ramzi Yousef in the Philipines a year before the OKC bombing. And John Doe No 2, revealed to be Iraqi national Husseim al-Husseini
was working at Boston Logan on 9/11. Add to that the multiple explosives coming from inside the Federal buildings(proven by witnesses, seismic data, military anaylsis of the structural integrity,
etc) etc. and Tim Mcveigh looks to simply be the patsy.

We also know Oklahoma City bombing operative Mujahid Menepta took Mohamed Atta, Zacharious Moussaoui and Marwen al Shehi months before 9/11 to the same Dreamland motel near Oklahoma City where he took Mcveigh and Nichols before the OKC bombing in 1995.

Often times we WANT to believe these cases are just the product of a lone nut...
but when we look at all the facts and real evidence of the murders of John F Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King and the Oklahoma City bombing...the lone wolf theory doesn't stand up to scrutiny

LilPoKPoKi

I don't think him being in a mosque with the hijackers is causing suspicions.
It's more that the Awlaki that Hasan revered who is said to have written "44 Ways to Support Jihad" and linked to Al Qaeda that's raising a few eyebrows.
There is no evidence yet that he had conversations with the hijackers, but he definitely seemed to like that Awlaki man.

And again, I'd caution calling Awlaki and outright al Qaeda sympathizer...but from my research into 9/11, he seems intimately linked to bin Laden family terror charity WAMY in Virginia(where he housed several of the hijackers). He worked hand in glove with Omar al Boyoumi, the Saudi intelligence operative who brought Nawaf al Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar(a couple of the main hijackers) to San Diego. From his time in Colorado, California and Virginia he seems a bit too coincidentally linked to terror sympathizers.

And you are correct; though it technically was peace time...and as horrible as the USS Cole attack was; it counts as assymetrical warfare. The attack on the Pentagon involved a plane full of civilians(though, even many of those were military or ex military)

All pocky did was quote-block a mainstream media source, with a three sentence blurb at the end describing his take. And it is a very damning source with some very damning information. Combined with witnesses decrying him in the "Huffington Post," of all God damned places, the "guy was obviously ill" line is all but dropped.

I swear, the FBI could find chat logs, cell calls and emails with high level and mid level al Qaeda operatives....hell, the FBI could find that this guy traveled to terrorist training camps
and people would say "no no, don't mention the word Islamic terrorist...it's all a Fox News lie".

IF a self avowed Christian nut walked into a gay club and started shooting people...I guarantee you the left would be having a field daying...having whole news programs devoted to Christian extremists.
pockybot
It means he was within elbow room of several of the 9/11 hijackers.

Possibly, at some point, in a room that can and often does hold a thousand people at once.

That your reasonable doubt is becoming less and less reasonable by the hour.
Let me make this clearer.

Wiki
The Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center (Arabic: مركز دار الهجرة الاسلامي‎, English: Land of Migration) is a masjid and Islamic Center located in Falls Church, Virginia. Founded in 1982, it is one of the first masjids[1] to be established in the multi-cultural Northern Virginia area and has since become one of the largest and most influential mosques in the United States. Weekly Friday prayer attendance at Dar al Hijrah exceeds 3,000 people[2] and the center is known for its community service[3] and outreach in Fairfax County and the Washington, DC area.

Hasan was, at this time, working at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, which is located in DC. He, and thousands of other local Muslims, attended one of the largest and most influential mosques in the DC/Northern Virginia area. Among this teeming throng, we have a few of the 9-11 hijackers and one psychiatrist.

That's a definitive link? I suppose he's a drug dealer and a child molester too, I bet there were a few in the area at the time.

It sounds to me like someone is desperate to find some sort of link, rather than admit that they let this disgruntled, angry, and harassed person somehow fell through the cracks.
Surviving Fort Hood shooting suspect arrested at golf course, officer says

Quote:
(CNN) -- A senior officer who was playing golf Thursday near Fort Hood, Texas, told CNN he witnessed the arrest of one of the two surviving suspects of the shooting at the Army installation.

Shortly after the shooting, the officer said, military police told him to clear the course and he saw other MPs surround the building that held the golf carts, he said.

The senior officer said he ducked into a nearby house for cover as 30 to 40 cars carrying MPs approached.

He said he saw a soldier in battle-dress uniform, his hands in the air. The MPs ordered him to lie on the ground and open his uniform, presumably to ensure he was not carrying explosives, the senior officer said.

He said an MP told him that authorities considered the man to be a suspect in the shootings after having overheard the man say he was with the shooter.

The man was surrounded for 25 to 30 minutes, until a convoy of vehicles arrived, led by a Ford Crown Victoria and carrying men in suits, and he was taken away, the senior officer said.

The golf course is about 2.5 miles from Fort Hood, the officer told CNN.

Simply a blunder of early early reporting or post shooting confusion....

or a hint that not all as it appears?

Lord Cameron
Because the military mind controlled him to commit this act of "terrorism" in the first place. Obviously trying to push some agenda. I think its a pro-torture thing.

The largest Military base in the world doesn't just suddenly become incompetent for no reason. Most military base shootings are resolved within minutes, with the max of 3-4 casualties.

I wouldnt say "the military" or "government" per se. *Something* perhaps makes these events come in waves, and guys just snap. Again, the Vtech massacre was followed the next day by a shooting rampage at NASA headquarters, followed right after by an office, school and mall shooting respectively.

While I believe Sirhan Sirhan, the young Rosicrucian Palestinian who was alleged to have killed RFK, was in fact a CIA mind controlled assassin along with a second shooter in the Ambassador hotel pantryway...I don't agree with my fellow conspiratorial compatriots who assert every horrible event in the US is by "way of the military intelligence complex".

However, I wouldn't be surprised if there are certain things that aren't quite so random, that trigger these folks to snap.
When you look into Occult religion, they ALWAYS teach that events happen in waves- that events are part of a greater cycle.

Maybe there is some truth to this. Or maybe its superstition turning into reality.

Well that's a whole other subject...but there's no doubt that the occult is intimately linked to
many events; from 9/11 to what the Nazis were into.

Again, people can laugh all this off...but is this any stranger than believing in an invisible
sky god? Just look at the top three movies at the box office: Paranormal Activity, The Men Who Stare At Goats(true story of high level military trained in psychic warfare and paranormal reasearch) and The Fourth Kind(about alien abductions)

All this did was kill off Liz's semantics argument above.

It's not a semantics argument, not that you ever bothered to address it. I haven't speculated about likelihood (in other words, yes, if I was a betting girl, I'd bet that this guy was attempting to scare people into adhering to a broader agenda.) I've simply corrected you on your misuse of the term based on what was current information.
The current information still supports what's basically suicide by cop.

I haven't checked the news or anything since yesterday so I qualified my statement.
@Chainsaw:

This is the kind of thing violent jihadi extremists do when taking advantage of America's freedoms:

New York-Based Radical Muslim Hails Fort Hood Massacre
NEW YORK — A New York City bicycle cabbie who mocked the murder of American journalist Daniel Pearl and posted a prayer on the Web calling for the murder of Jews is now sending a "Get Well Soon" message to the suspected Fort Hood gunman, the New York Post reported.

Yousef al-Khattab, 41, a radical Muslim in the borough of Queens who runs RevolutionMuslim.com, claims on the site that the soldiers massacred at the Texas base deserved to be massacred, and he insists the victims are in "eternal hellfire."
As for the suspected gunman — Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan — Al-Khattab hails him as a hero.

"An officer and a gentleman was injured while partaking in a pre-emptive attack," al-Khattab wrote on the site. "Get well soon Major Nidal. We love you."

Al-Khattab, a Jewish-born New Jersey native formerly named Joseph Cohen, converted to Islam in 2004. Known by the FBI for posting radical messages online, al-Khattab claims that the 13 murdered and 38 wounded soldiers at Fort Hood were "terrorists" who deserved to die.

"These people are soldiers in a volunteer army," al-Khattab told the Post. "They expect to see combat. They know the danger."

"Rest assured the slain terrorists at Ft. Hood are in the eternal hellfire," al-Khattab writes online.

On Oct. 7, al-Khattab posted a message on the Web calling on Allah to carry out "wrath on the Jewish occupiers of Palestine & their supporters."

"Please throw liquid drain cleaner in their faces," he wrote. " … burn their flammable sukkos while they sleep … Ya Allah (Oh God) answer my duaa (prayer)." ("Sukkos" refers to the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, during which Jews build and eat their meals in outdoor huts known as "sukkahs," which represent the huts the Jews lived in during their exodus from Egypt.)

Al Khattab insists that his hatred is protected by the First Amendment. "If it was a threat, I'd be in jail," the 41-year-old al-Khattab told FoxNews.com in October.

Hasan — a radical Muslim — reportedly shouted "Allahu akbar," or "God is great" in Arabic, before unloading more than 100 rounds at soldiers preparing to ship off to Iraq and Afghanistan.

I never understood why after 9/11 the FBI was sending undercover agents and informents to try and ensnare and trap poor semi retarded black guys in Brooklyn and Miami into fake al Qaeda plots...when you got real extremists flaunting it in the face of authority.

The recent Springfield, North Carolina, Boston, Denver, Dallas, etc arrests highlight the Justice Department finally going after terror sympathizers obsessed on committing to violent jihad.

Hell, last week the FBI had a shootout with a wherehouse of terrorists back east, killing at least one of them.
Are you suggesting that more drastic action should be taken against Cohen, pocky?
Wendigo
Are you suggesting that more drastic action should be taken against Cohen, pocky?

I didn't suggest that.

But look at another American Jew turned Islamic extremist, namely Adam Pearlman.
Most CIA and intelligence experts now agree that Adam Pearlman(known as "Azzam the American) is now the #3 in al Qaeda right under Osama bin Laden and Ayman al Zawahiri.

How did a young southern California metal head tubby Jewish kid end up being one of the heads of the world's most feared real life super villain group? The real life COBRA?

It's hard to tell who is a legitimate terrorist in America, and who is all talk.
