From what I can tell he seems like a perfectly decent and likable human being.

Then you obviously have been missing the media fire storm calling him a misogynistic, homophobic, rich, punk, bully. A majority of which are probably true I'm sorry to say.

As a person and a talker he's charming, handsome (no homo but the guy looks like an old Bruce Wayne), and seems friendly enough.

However he is a politician, so I judge politicians based on their character, voting record and what they stand for. When it comes to do that, he fails miserably.
