How the hell does this decision confuse the parents? What made them think that the rules the Catholics laid out applied to every other parent...but them?
The Catholics have long held the belief and practice to hate the sin, not the sinner, and practicing homosexuals won't get a pass at their private schools.
This isn't a secular issue. This is a religious issue, and they have the right to do so.

Never said they didn't have a right to. But they should rightly expect to be called bigots for it.
What's the point of this thread? It's a private school. They can deny anyone they damn well please of service, for any damn reason they want. It's not a hard to grasp concept. The boy scouts don't let you in if you're gay either, and again, they're a private club, shocking, I know.

Most people don't exactly advertise their contraceptive methods publicly. Sexuality, when in a relationship is an entirely different issue, as it is extremely difficult to hide being with a member of the same sex.

So if it was revealed that a married couple used pills/condoms, you would have the same opinion if the school told them and their kid to GTFO?
So does this school allow children whose parents are divorced/re-married? How about if they just cheated on their spouse at one point?

So why would this school allow children whose parents are divorced/re-married?

Doesn't matter, they can expel kids who like the color teal if they truly wanted.
But if they're gonna expel a child for their sinning parents, then why don't they expel other children for their sinning parents?

Completely irrelevant. Logic has no say in personal business preferences.
They're hypocritical douchebags until they start kicking out every student with at least one divorced and remarried parent, unmarried parents, parents that work on Sundays, bankers, etc..

Because they don't have to.
Then they're not being religious, they're being bigoted.
THAT'S what pisses me off about religious activism!

Agreed, but at the same time, we're allowed to call them out as bigots and smear them for their decisions.

Of course, as long as it isn't slander. I ******** hate the Catholic church, for example, is A-OK.
