Despite massive gains in profits, CEO's aren't seeing rising wages. Likewise, women voters can't help but fawn over sexist GOP candidates. I'm not sure which one is more of a joke.

Does direct compensation include stock options? I recall a laughable trend of paying oneself a dollar per year, which obviously supplies all the calories a CEO needs to live.

Does direct compensation include stock options? I recall a laughable trend of paying oneself a dollar per year, which obviously supplies all the calories a CEO needs to live.

$.50 for showing up to work, $.50 for performance. Oh, and blackmailing the board of directors into stock options large enough to incur a justice department lawsuit.

From what I'd read, they were rising despite their failures a couple years back. While, of course, their employees have been making on average about the same amount they did forty years ago (accounting for price level rises, I assume).
