It's not a pardon, and the author of this article knew it. It's only a weakening of the War Crimes Act, then made retroactive.

In other words, it means that Interrogators never committed a crime in the first place.
Then they'd better have already changed Article 1, Section 9, which forbids bills of attainder and ex post facto laws.

Retroactively changing a law? Yeah, that's unconstitutional. Even if you want a general amnesty declared for something you wish wasn't against the law.

As long as we both agree that:

A) This is not an action taken by the President, but by Congress and;
B) That this is not a pardon

... I really don't give a damn beyond that. No one is ever going to be prosecuted for this shiz anyway. /Bush Bash thread.
I believe Bush and Cheney should be hanged upside down and then we can all stone them or something. I'd totally take part. Those two neocons can have a taste of their own ideology as we "liberate" them from the confines of their mortal shells.

That'd be nice.

The entire administration is ******** up on so many levels. Their unethical acts should be rewarded with death penalties or something. The same way Saddam deserved his and Osama deserves his.

Justice shouldn't take sides with any criminal.
It's a goddamn pardon. He excused himself with a retroactive law. So it's a goddamn de facto pardon, no matter how you try to excuse this, or try to take a rabbit out of your own sodomized a**.

Sets a terrible precedent. But it's just goddamn normal seeing the party from this is coming from.
Above the law he said he was.

The funny part is, if t'was a Democrat, y'all see the treatment that the guy would receive. But, no... it's a conservative. So don't do anything just now. Wait 30 years.
The people that say Bush didn't do anything wrong just kill me..
I wonder where this comes from, they just parroting their parrents, just parroting the things they hear or do they trully think nothing is wrong.. It's scary in a way..

90% of radio stations are owned by Clear Channel.

They tend to exhibit a conservative bias...
