You portray Israel as if it is at the brink of starvation. That's simply not true. There's more than enough food that would otherwise be wasted. Leket has a good distribution network going.

What I'm seeing is the age-old notion that "lazy, uneducated foreigners come to our country and breed like rabbits. The white man will be a minority in 2200!" that the EDL and various other neo-eugenicists use to justify targeting e.g. Somali or Pakistani immigrants with their hypothetical one-child programs, child allowance forfeiture, or outright sterilization.

Targeted programs can be great. As an example, targeting an ethnicity with specific programs to increase literacy is entirely justifiable. Some additional courses for skilled workers of a specific ethnicity may be appropriate if smartly configured. Programs to teach them about the country's culture and customs would walk the tightrope and depend on content (like various countries' demented naturalization "courses" ), but programs that aim to lower their output of children is pretty far beyond that.

They aren't starving but clearly the whole of Israel isn't bending over backwards to feed all new comers while they get settled in.
