The issue would be trying to implement it so citizens (kids) get nourishment.
Don't know how you can be exclusive without being arbitrarily cruel and enforce that the kids get fed but not illegal immigrant parents. I mean, one can always hit up the local St. Vincent de Paul services but I'm not sure about how common they are in Alabama and it's just a bandaid solution anyways.

I suppose they can think they're all classy and y'know, see if they can attempt to cockblock on natural citizenship like AZ has been fumbling over. Then do the deportation business. Unless taking kids from their parents and kicking out the illegal immigratin folk outta the country is standard practice.

It's kind of a catch 22. Parents have pay stubs? Because, if they do, their employers are on the hook for violating the law, so then their employers get hammered. Landlords have a lease contract? Same problem.
How the hell do you verify the information provided by someone who isn't even supposed to be here in the first place?
They have two kids (hypothetically) that are here legally, then they get the amount for two citizens. Period.
