Ive seen so many people saying there glad that B/W2 are going to be on the DS and not the 3DS. Why is that?

Personally I don't care, but I am glad that it is out on the DS since I don't have a 3DS yet nor have the money to get one right now.

I can understand the people who dont have one. But if someone in doesn't want one in general well then thats there own problem.

Well, since BW2 aren't 3DS exclusive there isn't really a problem. For me anyway.

I feel it would only harm the sales of the new game. Regardless of what DS people have they can play the game. That will help sales of the game. Releasing it on 3DS Only will sure help sales of the 3DS a bit but for those who cannot afford it, they will not be able to buy the system AND the game.

I personally do not want a 3DS as I think it is pointless, but i may actually end up getting one.

Because 3DS costs $200-ish? Because Game Freak had problems learning to program for DS in the first place (hence the awkward load times of D/P) and shouldn't try to jump right into 3DS in case they make the same problems?

I'm of mixed feelings myself. On the one hand, I'm pretty happy with their decision to release for DS since it makes things easier for me and I can be sure they'll use the features well because they've had so much practice. On the other hand, that undersea tunnel would look amazing on the 3DS.

the 3DS will still have a beneficial parts. They are making it compatible with DS but it is a 3DS game. Basically playing it on the DS is playing it on the 3DS with 3D turned off.
