I'm not sure how to answer this question. My team is never IV bred or anything like that, I don't have the patience. It is geared to be competitive, yet I use mostly pokemon I love. Not much of a clear answer.

There's only one way for you to get better, and that's by battling. xD I'm happy to accept challenges of all kinds and even happier to give any help and advice to newbies if I can.

I do feel like people getting advice to breed only perfect pokemon, etc etc detracts from them becoming good battlers as newbies, because the best way you can become a good battler is to get your feet wet IMHO.

Aww GG. You got a few good switches on me that I didnt predict. I was hoping for the hax on Tri Attack but didnt get it. I made a poor choice of not assuming life orb killing Greninja in the end. That recover would of saved me.

Yeah, if you had used Foul Play I was hoping to sub myself down to LO-killed range, but even then it was a risk. That last part came down to a coin toss lol.

I'm really new at competitive.
So basically, I'm not competitive. I can try, but
I'm not great at it.
I do have EV trained Pokemon. Don't know how
they'll work out in the real world.
