I've found out several things:

-Patience is needed =w= Even if I'm bad at it
-Pokemon with moves like Intimidate slow you down, the hunts with safaris containing these pokemon take roughly double the time
-I try to go in safaris where there I 2 things I want, getting 1 thing out of 3 would be way optimistic, with the camerupt, I would have been happy with palpitoad, yet camerupt was my main hunt.
-This is the only method of getting shinies (other than fishing which sucks) that I'm good at. Maybe you should try MM or pokeradar too to see if they suit you better.
