Ah, the next generation of Pokemon! The best of the best, perhaps one of the most majorly enhanced Pokemon games out there.
A nice story, very different from all the previous games, and hey, you've got 3 rivals. That's where the catch is though.

Throughout the story you meet N. Who then becomes another rival to challenge you every so often, he isn't harmed by your victories though.
He's positive, friendly, and while he's the villain, he's still the nicest Rival you'll ever have. What about Bianca and Cheren though?
Those two, so full of hopes, dreams, and a strong will to keep on going. They're your best friends in the whole world who come to challenge you to a battle.

That's where things start to click in your head, You're helping N. You're supporting him throughout the game, letting him go, avoiding anything serious against Team Plasma.
How is this affecting your friends though? Bianca wants to become happy, find out what life holds for her. Cheren wants to become the champion and prove his strength, but you know strength is not everything.

So why? Why don't you help them? You're so busy helping the bad guys, you're not even stopping to help your friends. Sure they may join you in your battles, but they always leave it to you. Why? Because you've crushed their dreams.
In this whole game, you slowly see how depressed they become by your constant victories, they call you friend, but look at them. Bianca cries that she'll never be as strong as you, and you never cheer her up. You let her weep in sadness and never do a damn thing.

Look at Cheren, you've had many chances to set him right, but all you do is thoroughly thrash him every single time you see him, not giving him anything positive to set his mind straight. He hates you, he'll never become champion because of YOU.

You're not their friend anymore, You're their worst enemy, no matter how many times they sugar-coat it, you've killed their dreams, why? You had none of your own, but all you did was ruin their life.

The real villain is you.

Dusknoir is especially scary and not just its looks (a huge cycloptic ghost with no legs, weird markings, and a rather haunting body); it has a reputation of dragging people to the spirit world. The markings on its chest are actually a second mouth. Dusknoir's Platinum version Pokedex entry says that it can hold lost souls in the "mouth" on its stomach. Diminished a little bit by the fact that the same entry says that it does this "to guide them home".

Quite well known, but interesting nonetheless-
"When a mother Kangaskhan dies, it leaves its Kangaskhan cub on its own. The Kangaskhan cub uses the skull and a bone from its mother to use as protection and becomes a Cubone. Then through malnutrition or adapting to a different lifestyle, the Cubone evolves into a Marowak. Female Marowak's later evolve into Kangaskhans, and the cycle starts all over.
This is self evident, as Cubone appears rather similar to the baby Kangaskhan that rides around in it's mother's pouch. Also, 'Bonemerang' (Cubone's signature move) refers to boomerang just as 'Kangaskhan' refers to Kangaroo. Kangaroo and boomerangs are both natively Australian themes.
Before Pokemon Red/Blue released, the developers decided that Kangaskhan needed to be separated from the previous two stages to become its own standalone Pokemon. The reason for this is that, being a kids game, it wouldn't do to allow small children to learn that a Cubone is actually an orphaned baby Kangaskhan wearing it's dead mother's skull on it's head and slinging it's bones around like clubs and boomerangs. However, the team didn't have time to delete the code at the last minute. Instead of deleting the code, they simply wrote a new non-evolving Marowak and moved the old one to an empty slot... with no number. This catchable Pokemon is M', Missingno's sister.
M' is actually a scrapped prototype of Marowak. This theory can be confirmed if you catch a M' and level it up, it evolves into a Kangaskhan."

Ditto and Mew have the same weight, colour, shiny colour, and the same move -- Transform. This might lead to the conclusion that Ditto is a failed clone of Mew.

Zorua and Zoroark also might share some relation to Ditto and Mew, as they can transform aswell.

No, because when Zorua and zoroark transform, they don't copy the moves of the pokemon they transformed into.

They're completely different.

Anyways, theres this theory that Pokerus (a virus that makes the host grow radically) is what made animals transform into Pokemon.
And that Deoxys is a pure form of the virus, being able to shapeshift through forms and being from outer space.
Say, theres some fanart out there I believe... on Deviantart. Of Pokerus taking over Pokemon and unleashing an apocalypse in the world.
They say that they've started to infect humans too. That's why there are humanoid Pokemon like Jynx or Throh. How long until Pokerus wipes out people? O.o

How about, what is Kyurem? Is it the lost fusion of Reshiram and Zekrom, or the old dragon's polar opposite, and mortal enemy?

Also, you know all those legendary Pokemon that control something in the world, like Kyogre, Groudon, Mesprit, Arceus, etc.? Yeah, nice job trainer, you've caught them, and either have them in a Poke ball half the time, or stored somewhere in the PC. Where's the balance in the world now? Congrats, one 10-year-old (or whatever age you're supposed to be now) just offset the balance of time and space.
