The dream radar actually recharges pretty fast. I had to restart to rename my character and pick a different starter, but as I started my initial setup I got my hands on some Munna, a Sigilyph and a Drifloon before even leaving the home area in the game.

For those who may be concerned with it, the Future Clause
is no longer in effect! Since Black 2 and Whtie 2 have been
released in North America, the clause is no longer needed!
