Which is better to you?
Females get a few bonus points of defense and special defense,
While males get a few bonus points of attack and special attack
Of course, its hard to tell unless they have the same nature
As well as are trained exactly the same
I prefer female
Cuz most pokemon are indeed male
And most people prefer males due to the bonus to attacks
Which i think is stupid
It only gives a bonus of maybe +5 at the end of it
But people dont know that
Genderless pokemon are good too~
Like metagross<3
Nidoking and nido queen (and others like them) obviously dont count
For the fact they were perposely made different
Before you tell me im wrong
Look at it
Some people are claiming to have read this
And says it doesnt mention gender
So for them, heres a bigger picture
Gender is effected by PVs
PVs effect stats
It is possible that nature gives small bonuses based on gender
Along with other things
Long story short, gender does effect stats (indirectly)
And not 100%, but maybe 5%+
It used to be this way, and they have said to have changed it
However i disagree
Also, read what im saying to other people
And dont repeat what they say
It gets boring to repeat everything to everyone over and over
People who repeat others or simpley prove they didnt read anything,
Will be considered trolls and ignored
As a small side note to the quote above;
Some pokemon pairs i tested so far were trained
While others were tested with rare candies
I used rare candies in case the pokemon i was battling gave diferent stat values
Both work, but candies help eliminate small factors in stats

Look at the PV section on the right. Also, scroll down to see what effects IV stat
According to google and my boyfriend, IVs effect by 25% of its two stats.

This is helpful because some abilities effect stats and gender. Such as rivalry.

Natures effect stats, but everyone knows that. They fall under the PV catagory along with a few other things.
According to my boyfriend and google, natures effect by 5%

Simple national pokedex. Click on a pokemon to see a range of stats as well as other info
Example of the above:
A pokemon has a "rash" nature as well as "proud of its power" as a characteristic
This pokemon will have;
+25% special attack(characteristic), -25% special defense(characteristic), and +5% attack(nature)

This is an experiment
Gender values were introduced in gen 2
And have said to be stopped however i dunno
I think it still effects starters
Atleast on heartgold
Because i took a treecko male and female (hatched from eggs)
Trained from level 1 up to level 100
Same pokemon trained against as well as same nature and everything
And the male was 3 points better in sp attack
While the girl was 4 in defense and i think 2 on sp def
Rest of stats were equal
But since IVs, PVs, and EVs are effected by many things i cant pin point it 100% on gender D:
However, i think gender still effects stats; even if its by 1 point or so
This worked on 3 pokemon from my studies
Those 3 that worked were starters
Ive tried it on maybe 8 to 10 pokemon so far

Even if you dont believe the gender:stat thing, you probly still have a preference on gender. So answer the question, yea?
