Ha ha, I love having Pokemon screw around with gender archetypes. It's very amusing.
Let me think... On my Platinum Nuzlocke game that I'm writing a comic about, my main team is about evenly split between gender options: Empoleon and Togekiss male, Lopunny and Heracross (of all things) female, and Porygon 2.0 and Rotom which are gender-neutral.
On the Sapphire Nuzlocke game I'm not writing anything about, I have... *looks it up* male Swampert, male Mightyena, male Dustox, female Linoone, female Manectric, and female Breloom, so that's also pretty even.
On my Black Nuzlocke game that I'm writing fanfic about, I have a male Snivy, Panpour, Tympole, and Blitzle, a male Purrloin in the Daycare, and a female Herdier and Roggenrola. Though Morvarch is pretty much a My Little Pony with electric powers and stripes so it balances out anyway.
Huh. I really do tend to catch and train in about even gender ratios.
