Okay, I'm puzzled at the facts of this, maybe one of you Gaian members can solve this.
If the Pokemon Ditto could only transform into what it sees, how can you breed a male or female Pokemon with that Ditto?
In the Pokedex, it states that Ditto can reconstitute its cells into an exact replica of what it sees, and that if relied on memory that it will get details wrong.
From this information, you gather that:
- Ditto can transform into what it sees (meaning the object or anything needs to be in front of it)
- Ditto's memory is bad so in order to successfully replicate the opposite gender, it'd have to have the gender it's trying to transform right next to it. Otherwise you'll have dysfunctional reproductive organs. burning_eyes
Now from all the information. I've come to some conclusions to this question.
- That ditto has the decision whether it wants male or female reproductive organs
- Males are now able to have babies (Male + Male = Egg) and Females are able to semenate one another
- The daycare man or lady was in on it to remind Ditto what male and female reproductive organs were.
I think this whole mess would be cleared up if when you get to the daycare and you give your Pokemon to the day care lady or man or man-lady that they would just say "hey your Pokemon met someone special in the daycare and out a egg appeared"
More logical, huh? ~ But then wait, how does he know that your pokemon made an egg? Unless he was watching them. O.O
